Budget 25-30k Compact phone

Looking for a compact phone. Something like the iphone 12 mini. 13 mini and s22 are beyond my budget. Asus 8z has been out of stock for quite some time now. Any other phones available that are relatively smaller in size? Currently using an LG G7 and to be honest i do not want the phone to be any bigger.

People using the 12 mini, how has the experience been?

If i absolutely cannot get a compact phone, what are my other options? How are the s21 fe and a52s?

Check Pixel 6a in flipkart. Unless you plan to game, it should be fine. Under 30k is a good price for it, definitely would not have recommended it over 40k that it was launched for.

Take the call between iOS & android yourself. I personally would not buy any iOS phone because of the software itself.

A52s vs 6a: A52s has the better display, slightly better battery life & will likely run cooler while gaming, but 6a has better raw performance & cameras. UI is kind of subjective, I prefer One UI because stock OS lack some features.

I did consider the pixel initially but hearing about the overheating issues, poor reception and battery problems made me remove it from my list. Also, Google's support is pretty much non existent. Do you think it is still worth it going for this phone? I rarely upgrade phones. I use a phone for 3 years at the very least.

Check some more reviews for it & even S21 FE (will be 33k or so in FK). Both of them have heating issues on load but seem good otherwise, especially for the sale price.

Asus zenfone 9 but price could be a deal breaker , if you dont game go for 6a
I'm even ready to go for the 8z but its been out of stock for a long time. Don't have high hopes of the 9 launching anytime soon.

Im probably narrowing down to the 12 (non-mini) or the pixel. Dont know why Samsung keeps sticking to shitty Exynos in most Indian variants.
Pixel 4a. I was in the same boat few yes back and my options were Pixel 4A or iPhone 12 mini and I took Pixel. Intersting experience so far.
Any major issue that you faced during this time?

Exynos Samsung devices are a no go for me, else I will try to stick to Samsung for myself as much as possible. With the death of the real OP, I doubt we will see another gem like S20FE 5G anytime soon.

Do you have a problem with the phone's size or its weight? I also like compact phones, but my primary problem was with the weight and size was secondary, even though I also want smaller phones.

If your primary issue is with size, then there's nothing much to be done. There's not a big enough market for smaller phones, so nobody manufactures them anymore. Both Google and Apple dropped their smaller phones from their lineup this year. Pixel 6a has 6+ inc display and there's no iPhone 14 mini. So it seems going forward, people like us will just have to adapt and use bigger screens. Personally, I'll wait for the tides to turn and smaller phones becoming cool again. Hopefully it will happen before my Pixel 4a dies.

If your primary issue is with weight, however, there are still a couple of devices trying to stay around the 150 gm mark. Here are two options you can consider:
Motorola Edge 30
Xiaomi 11Lite NE 5G

Unfortunately, my problem is with size.
