Guys, planning to get an O'reilly Media subscription, people working in tech would be aware of this I suppose, they have a good collection of books, video tutorials, sandboxes and live training.
The advertised cost is USD 499 but they run a promo of USD 299 twice a year. If anybody is interested in sharing, do let me know.

This's the first time I've found a code for O'reilly online and it works. Code: SALESEPT22
So the subscription becomes $299.

Personally, I also want to subscribe but I find it a little on the expensive side so I generate a iCloud private email everytime I want to read a book but I never read after the first day.
Let me know if many people are joining, I'll also consider joining.
 
It is not just books though, there are live training sessions, cloud labs with unlimited use. I agree 20/24K is a lot.

There are a couple of options which have 0 currency conversion charges, so this is not a worry.

There are 3 of us interested now. Cost is 24K so we'll need at least 5 people to bring it down to that cost. Let's wait and see if anybody else joins.

I'm interested but don't know how sharing works, is it like one email, multiple devices ? If they are going check ip, it will show random location, different courses same time, they might figure it out right ?
 
I'm actually trying to purchase from last night.
Transactions are not going through. I tried 2 CC and PayPal. Nothing worked even with US address.

Likely due to RBI mandate. It happened with my Oculus store purchases, none of my cards worked including of my friends. Same thing happened with one of my friend for patreon.
 
I tried purchsing multiple times last night and my account froze and lost 4 x 1 Pound on the card verification. I'm now in touch with the bank. Some issue with their backend.

I am not sure if I got the subscription or just got setup for a subscription, but this is what I got after submitting my payment, with a 1 Pound transaction. Did you get the same message as well?

My trial got over long back. So it’s payment for subscription. The 1 GBP passed but then above message was displayed.
