I don't want any fancy feature loaded smartphone. I'm looking for something with long term reliability. I should be able to use it without any major problems for at least 4 years (my current smartphone, a Samsung J4+ is 4 years old and is an unreliable piece if crap). Please suggest some options.

You may skip reading this but i don't know what to suggest at this price but i know what to NOT buy in this price. Never go for Mi/redmi/poco. All my colleague, friends have one of them and the ads even in system app are unbearable. Not talking about ads in downloaded app. Some may tell you app/ steps to disable them. But why to bother in the first place when you are paying a good amount money.

Also try replacing your old phone if possible on Amazon. Wouldn't go for more than 2-3k but will give you a decent budget increase
