Frankly speaking, I wouldn't suggest anyone to buy an internal hdd online from amazon even in US let alone in India. You will be extremely lucky if an internal hdd bought from amazon survives more than 1-2 years. Reason for this being, internal hdd are very delicate while their handling is completely opposite of what is required from amazon/flipkart.

i personally support this , but than the discount + those amazon diwali coupons actually undercut even the market rates

Yes it is, a regular credit card in India can only be issued by a bank & that's why onecard credit card always has issuing partner bank name also written on the card.

I suggest not to buy internal HDD from amazon/flipkart because the handling during delivery will make sure it will likely not survive more than 1-2 years.
