CPU/Mobo Win 11 compatible and GTA V playable Processor, Motherboard, Ram

Futureized

Skilled
Only require:
Processor (i am Intel fan should be windows 11 compatible )
Motherboard (should be windows 11 compatible)
Ram (is 16 gb enough or should be minimum 32 gb.)
HDD 2 TB Sata.

My existing configuration.
480 gb ssd,
1 TB Sata drive
24 inch monitor,
Mid Tower cabinet,
keyboard + mouse,
750 watts corsair Power supply.
Licensed Windows 10 and Office 365 with few more licensed products.

Please note : Motherboard or processor should have inbuilt GPU and shall be great if I am able to play games like GTA 5 and Far Cry Primal (no other latest high end games)
I am Intel processor fan for 20 years.

1. PC shall be mainly used for browser based work (multiple browsers like Firefox and Chrome) and MS office.

2. Sata drive can temporarily be kept on hold if good processor, ram and motherboard costs near 30000.

3. Request to post prices with GST.
(FOR ONLINE Amazon India preferred)

4.PC shall be upgraded after 1.5 years or most probably a new pc.

Just putting this out there, I don't think you can do Far Cry Primal with just an iGPU at 1080p.

And considering you are stressing on Intel, I guess that would rule out one decent option, that being the Ryzen 5 5600G which could do GTA V 60fps @ 1080p and maybe 30fps for Far Cry at low-medium.

Thanks i can go for that as well.
Can you suggest a configuration with that processor?

Did you meant far cry 6 at 30 fps low medium?
It shows Memory Support: DDR4 3200 MHz, i assume lesser MHz memory might won't work?

12400F (Rs.14000) + H610 (Rs.6000) + 2x8 GB 3200 (Rs.5200) + used 1650 Super (Rs.8000-9000)
This config will last you 3 years at least if not more, you can get a lower price in store if you buy CPU+Mobo+RAM combo.

you should give the used market a try, at least for Processor and Ram as these items rarely get defective.
lot of 12400F are sold for around 10K but your use case is very less so you can really go for intel i3 12100 - this processor is quite powerful for it's price range (can get new for 9k)
ddr4 Ram is also easily available on the used market as people are switching to ddr5 slowly.
For the motherboard I'll suggest getting new - basic H610 is enough as suggested above.
then the GPU can be selected depending on the remaining budget.

Cannot find used gpu anywhere.?

Request to guide to right topic to purchase or purchase sites.
Preferring new items, as already wasted lot of time with unstable old Hardware.

But can rethink is deals are good.

Everything used was/is available here itself. Scavenge through classified sections or keep an eye if you are not in a hurry or create a wtb thread and offers might pour in.
Dont just restrict to those 2 games as unsure how often you are going to upgrade or not and you might get hitched to other games so best to keep a config for next 3 yrs at least to be safe as another corona outbreaks and the market will go volatile and so the prices..and then an upgrade will be back to scalping thing!

Above i5 and 56xx configs are way too much safe for you for next 3-5yrs.

Thanks @nRiTeCh
I am not sure what you meant by making wtf thread?
Can you kindly help on right topics where i can fund/find my required hardware please?

Thanks

I have corrected, its WTB not WTF :tearsofjoy:
What topics? Just go through deals in market section you might find what you are looking for. Off-late guys are selling their entire setups as well which might be a close match to your requirements..

Thanks again @nRiTeCh
My first preference shall be purchase from local hardware sellers in Mumbai or online.

As my company shall bear expenses
(they require GST adjustments)

@nRiTeCh @psyph3r @Dauggie @ascalon
Thanks for guiding.

I have increased the budget for above required components to 40000.

Kindly suggest right website to purchase or Mumbai hardware market price possibly.

Use the usual mdcomputers/primeabgb/vedantcomputers websites for online purchases after comparing prices on www.pcpricetracker.in
or
Just head to Lamington road and go to this guy

i tried something to fit together and this configuration is what I came up with. went with Basic MB and ram for your usage with RTX 2060 if you can add 2k extra if not you can get 1660 super - but the performance difference is huge between them so if you can add extra 2k you will be good for next 3 years of 1080p mid-high setting games

If your company is bearing expenses, then have they given a budget limit? Have they excluded any components? An iGPU is perfectly capable of running office tasks and the company may not want to approve the expense of a GPU. And if they are, I guess they wouldn't be ok with paying for used parts no matter how good the deal is.

Company paying 30k, i have added 10k myself (arm it remains company property) . Important priority is performance of PC, do no require to play games on very high level settings, suffice with medium settings.

Thanks configuration looks really great.Graphic card appears way too costly something which can fit under 10k-12k well be great (new).

I may be able to add 32 gb ram instead of 16 gb and get a 2 tb sata (will have lot of apps in system tray and not sure if windows 11 can run smooth on 16 gb ram)

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-core-i3-12100-12100f-review
core i3 12100 is little a gaming beast

Intel core i5 12400 best cpu for gaming
Thanks again.

If it remains company property, i highly suggest getting an iGPU processor+motherboard+ram etc. new and submitting those bills to the company, and getting a <10k GPU used. If you turn over the PC to the company at any point, you can keep the GPU as is without rendering the PC useless.

for your requirement Ryzen 5600g would be the best option - PC PARTS
gave you 32gig ram but if you get just 16gb then you can fit entire build in your previous 30k budget.
since it will be company property so don't spend your money on it.

for igpu Ram speed matters so don't go below 3200mhz to save some money. stick to the suggested model if possible.

Now i have finally increased budget to 50000, my company will allow to keep this components with me.
And planning to add 32 gb ram
2 tb Hdd
Cpu (Intel)
Motherboard
PC shall remain turned On for upto few days to a week without going off.

I am getting very much confused, planning to drop gaming option at present and only plan for a good/ stable PC or include gaming as well.

If i drop the gaming option now and concentrate only on building a good pc for around 30 to 35K ,please suggest best options.
Or with increased budget to 50000 kindly suggest options with gaming too

This is the configuration received from a friend as per gaming requirement:
Processor Intel i7- 11700 + Gigabytes 510MH Motherboard @ 34800
16 GB ram corsair ram @4600
WD 2TB HDD@4600
Total=44000

If we divide components into 50k we can do this
20k for cpu + mobo
10k for 32 gb ram and 2 tb hdd
20k for gpu

This is similar to one of previous build I suggested above - 12th gen with gtx 1650 - under 50k total ( but these are online rates, offline rates would warry)

first your requirement of 20k of CPU and MB can only fit core i3 12100 ( I went with non F variant so that you can still get display without GPU needed)
10k for ram and HDD was not possible as ram itself takes around 9k but added 32gigs ram and hdd
then only tier of GPU qualifies is around 15k ones so gave Gtx 1650 as that's the only one that fits in budget.

Hope it helps.

Thanks got this suggestion.
Hey sup, This is what i could come up with all new parts. It's almost a new PC entirely, so i tried keeping it balanced with focus on gaming. This build will require no upgrades for a long time.

**GPU**: I was trying to make a list with 6600XT but it would be a bit of compromise with other parts.

**CPU:** Also, I tried adding an i5 but again would either go over budget or have to drop the GPU to 1650S or skip either 16gb ram or storage. i3 will still be able to handle all ur workload and not bottleneck the GPU.

*MB and HDD are selling at a solid price, i would grab them. Although HDD is 5400rpm, it's still great for archival storage & also it's CMR. For other parts, check local once*

Hi thanks again,
I guess instead of i3 12100 (inbuilt gpu) we can go for i3 12400F(no inbuilt gpu)

There shall be a difference of 3 to 4 thousand with same performance?

This is my cabinet MSI MAG FORGE 111,just to ensure if everything will fit in it?
Ashtray got 2 Hdd (1 x 480 gb ssd and 1 x 1 TB sata)
