Look at the CPU market bro. Intel and AMD keep giving competition to each other on higher end and prices have stayed relatively same in the past 3+ years while the performance has shot up like crazy. From intel 10th gen and above and Ryzen Zen2 and above the prices stayed nearly same and also drop frequently while the generational gains have been huge. That's because healthy competition and at the end consumers win.
