Hey everyone I am looking to buy this controller from USA, now i am seeing that it comes with 2 aa batteries, i have the old xbox one controller which Xbox One Play and Charge Kit so i want to know if i buy the new controller will i be able to use the same kit in the new controller or not? Kindly advise,Thanks

The 2 AA batteries you'll get are Duracell ones. You can use any use and throw or rechargable AA batteries with your Xbox controller.

Also as per Microsoft your play and charge kit should work

Don't own an Xbox controller yet, but I know that Xbox one controller accessories work with series controller just fine. The battery should work, but new controller has type C port vs micro USB in old. Similarly, the wireless adapter for PC works as well.

If you haven't ordered it yet, I recommend buying the controller + adapter bundle for $45-50, especially if you plan to use the controller with a PC. Else ignore.

yeah i am planning to use it with pc only. I have a usb c to c cable to use it with the pc if needed. Is there anyway I can get the old xbox one cotroller itself? Cant find it anywhere

I think they stopped its production, thus not available. I see no reason to prefer Xbox one controller over series, as the latter is a more refined version. So why look for Xbox one controller?

BT is sometimes problematic, the wireless adapter is highly recommended for much lower connection issues & lower latency. Sure, you can play using it wired, but $10 extra is a great deal for the adapter (it costs 2.5k here if you plan to buy later).

Just check some videos online if you have doubts about the play & charge kit. Also on how series controller is better than older one (slight improvements) & on the wireless adapter.
