Recycling LED tubelight at home

I have around 10+ LED tubelights , I saw few videos where they identify the issue and rectify them easily , there by saving loads of money and also lessens pollution.

I was moved by those videos , i wanted to try to repair them by my own.. so seeking advice from fellow DIYers..

Things needed , proper guide etc...

I have tried repairing led bulbs, in most cases the problem was in pcb, then in SMD led. Even removing the light diffuser without damage is tricky.
Getting to the pcb is even trickier, the wires from AC side are so short, the heat sink is glued so much that its impossible to get it out without breaking. The question you have to ask is it worth the time and cost to replace it. Its just cheaper to buy a new led bulb.

Even to replace the led smd I needed around 6 leds bulbs to find a similar size smd led.

Not sure how easy its to dimantle a led tubelight, I don't have a single tublelight in my house.

Its in hindi , but i think its obvious from the action and terms he speaks , what is being done.

@adder , yes i agree , but sometimes the rate of failure is too high and thought of seeking replacement is even more headache..

i thought if we can share any guide or tips , it might be better for all the DIYers out there to fix these things.

This is a decent video. I tried doing something similar and watched this video as well. I even got a couple of tubelight drivers from Amazon. Eventually, it turned out, the problem was with the connector.

If you're facing too many failures in your LED lights, please check if you also have a similar issue with your connection. LED lights at my home last very long. In 3 years since I moved in my current flat, there has been just one failure which was due to a connection issue. Mind you, this is a rented flat, so some of the lights were already there and therefore older than 3 years.
