Need not be. Nowadays most phones come with big batteries and SoCs too have become much more power efficient, net result is that we may not observe a noticeable difference in overall battery life.

May not be that noticeable when you use the phone as the screen will consume the most power.

Unless the bands are in the three digit frequencies you will notice higher drain on data than say wifi.
 
The m33 5g , their budget range just got the one ui 5 update with android 13 . Anyone using one?
S21FE's update feedback is positive - supposedly increased the SoT. I haven't updated yet, my wife's phone (21FE); will probably do it tomorrow.

May be. Unless one is using a small phone with a tinny battery like a Pixel 4a (or, the old LG G4, yeah used to have one incl a leather back :) ) standby battery drain is something I haven't looked at seriously.
 
Frankly, no idea. I don't own any phone with CA so I cannot say what the battery life will be. I've seen one guy here complain about the s20fe battery life in another thread. Is it due to the power hungry flagship chip or due to CA can't say.
The most power consuming feature in s20fe would be the 120hz display. That takes a lot of battery. If you use 60hz mode then battery backup is good. In case you would want to use 120hz then you can make use of bixby routines to disable the features in apps that don't need it.
