Which TV should I buy for a classroom?

I need a TV for 150 sq.ft classroom. Room will be well lit. Hdmi port is the only main requirement. Should be around 50 inches. Is kodak 7xpro a good choice?

In my experience projector is more effective. It doesn't matter the room is lit or not, we're not watching movie.

Edit: on second thoughts, A big TV might suffice for a 150 sqft room.

What would be the content being displayed like? Will it be videos, images, or text? If text, then PowerPoint slides or handwritten text? Are you going to be doing coding lessons?

Projector was my first choice. But considering how cheap big tv's have become, it will be far more convenient option.

Pre-recorded lectures of content being written on Microsoft one note on a tablet. Mostly related to Tax / Accounts. Will be played using a HDMI from a ssd.

In this case, you need to ensure that the TV is big enough for the fonts to be readable from the back. Due to the text being in video, the quality may have deteriorated as well. So make sure it looks slightly larger than regular readable size to make up for any blurriness.

Check the farthest viewing distance. Since you say the room is 150 sq. ft., it can be reasonably assumed that farthest student would be more than 10 feet away. In that case, 50" might not be enough.

I sit at 8.5' from my 50" 4k TV to which I also connect my gaming PC. If I ever open any web browser or anything, I have to move slightly closer to read the text properly. And this when I use it at 275% DPI scaling (not enough to accommodate 1080p video at scaled size). So I'd recommend getting at least 65" TV.

Best would be to get a demo with your own content. Stand as far as you think students will sit from the demo unit and play the video from a pen drive. See if you can read the text. Then decide on the size.
