Yes. Totally avoid Flipkart or even Amazon for PC Parts. Get it from your trusted shops in local markets like Lamington Road in your / nearby city. Family been ordering from PrimeABGB since early 2000s and there never been any issue. It will be cheaper than online in most cases.

Yep. If you see this little beauty - "No Returns Applicable" on a FK item description, just assume it is a scam. A little harsh but better than getting a Toothpaste inside your 20k CPU box.

Not always. Have purchased 3L+ worth stuff in last 3 months with 'no returns applicable'. All items were sealed in box with proper bills. Ymmv

I beg everyone be careful while ordering from flipkart. They have rejected my return already once. I raised complaint again and they still asking for pics. Don't expect you will get easy return or replacement. Jo mere sath ho raha hai wo apke sath na ho so please take care.
Was about to order 5800x+ B550+ 3060 from Flipkart during the Big billion sale. Saw that there was no returns no open box delivery and lots of negative reviews online. I think I avoided a disaster. Instead of providing better services they just delete the negative reviews.

Yes I think it is a wise decision.. See I'm no messiah for local store wala or against big corporation... I believe in a free economy and get the best value for me as a customer

In this case flipkart is just asking us to gamble with our money + their and amazon's support is now atrocious so it is going to be a loss and a long headache

I see the additional 10% spent with mdcomputers or Vedant as a "peace of mind" feel that I'm willing to pay for now

I wonder why there is no review for 5800x3d. Flipkart know what is going on and they also delete reviews so people don't know about what's going on.

So can I take it for granted that any electronics item from flipkart is going to be "No Returns Allowed" now? It seems like every link from this thread leads to a product page that shows the same thing.

Safe to buy this?

You probably are safer trying to help out a Nigerian prince.

This promo image says that there's a discount applicable for SBI CCs. It leads to this link:

where the SBI card offer isn't listed. Can anyone else see the SBI offer?

The ad banners are often out of date on Flipkart.

Last month I purchased two Moto phones on behalf of my relatives. The offers available on the product page were different from the ad banners on the site.

Outdated banners, anti-consumer return policies, fake products :banghead:

Flopkart seems to be going the Snapdeal way, and they ruined Ebay.in for us too on the way. Amazon will also get worse in the absence of good competition. Hope Motabhai plans to make Jiomart/Rel Digital take advantage of this void. Even if we hate Jio, we need more competition in the space.
