AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB Unleashed: Flagship Navi 31 XTX “RDNA 3” Chiplet GPU, 70% Faster Than 6950 XT For $999 US

I was hoping that 7900XTX will be almost near to 4080 and may beat it in some games. Now this is reference card and AMD has given the option to its AIB, for doing any changes to the PCB that they can. I am expecting AIB cards to be atleast 10 percent faster. But from a price to performance ratio perspective, I would say - meh.

So this may be the 1st Gen of Chiplet design for GPU, just like Ryzen 3xxx were and with Ryzen 5xxx we saw great performance and the trend is there. I am sure, with their next gen, the performance will keep getting better but to beat NVIDIA, that is a long path for them.

I was so excited for RDNA 3 after Raja Koduri left AMD. But guess what, all the hype were lies. So basically Raja Koduri was holding the GPU team together. oof

Hardware bugs? What in the actual hell. If you're unaware, check this tweet.

Even Intel GPU's seem better for their price.

Now, waiting on the AIB card and how much they are going to push the limit on this Chip. But its a disappointing show and I was never expecting it (XTX) to beat the 4090 or even come near it.

First off, people should realise AMD is not into public service but is there to make money just like any big corporation, despite BOM cost of these RDNA 3 cards being considerably lower than RTX 4000 series,AMD has a larger margins per card, that tells you something,as for the price stabilisation,it might adjust ,maybe about 10% somewhere in the end of 1st quarter 2023,I very much doubt there will be major deviations beyond that, let’s hope that iam wrong.

Losing market share each year is stupid, not being able to compete with your competitor is incompetence. Destroying good will of consumers by misleading them is again, stupid. Even charities don't act in such a disastrous manner.

The marketing team in AMD is as retarded & greedy as ever. First they messed up the CPU prices and now this.

Even r/AMD is done with AMD's prices.

As usual, all the cards are grabbed by scalpers. In a few days, there will be blog posts saying that scalpers are unable to sell these cards. :)
