PC Peripherals G304 Mouse Buttons not working properly.

If you can do it on your own or can go to an electronic repair shop that can do it, then replace switches first and see if it will resolve your issue.
Replacing switches on G304 is not straightforward and needs little bit of patience and skill. But if replacing switches will solve ur prob, then it is well worth.
 
Replace the switches. The switches you have linked should be compatible. G304 disassemble is tricky, so look for switches replacement video for g304 online to understand the complexity of the procedure. If you think you cant do it youself go to a mobile repair shop.
If everything else fails, you can just sell it in the forums for a couple hundred rupees and buy a new one.
 
Get new switches and solder them. I did that for 3 of my logitech mouse(mx518, g300s and g600). Cost 150rs to solder 6 replacement switches at nearby shop.
 
I successfully changed my switches (Kailh GM 8.0) but unfortunately mobo died on me :facepalm:.

Thats a risk with high power soldering iron. Ironically, cheaper soldering irons are better for pcb solders as they are of low watts (25 watts) and cannot overheat and burn the pcb.
 
How sure are you that the PCB is dead? there might be something that you are missing.

I have changed switches on multiple mice so I might be able to help you if you can share some more details.

I've checked all the components while reassembling. You cannot properly solder the switches without separating them from the mobo so there's not way that mobo was damaged from soldering. What I reckon is that while disassembling the mouse I must have damaged the main PCB...

Yeah I know. What issue are you facing though? It does not turn on anymore or does it not register the clicks anymore?

have you checked if all the JST cables are connected properly?

Cables are alright. I reckon it has something to do with power. Doesn't power on. It worked for a day or two before it completely died on me.
 
Not my intention to sideline the topic, but man, this is the reason I've been ignoring G304. The mouse and sensor have very good reviews, but opening and changing switches, is complex for this mouse.
Wish we have better wireless mice in this price range to beat G304.
