I think both buyer and seller should now call it off since this has been sorted it out.

As some of the members here were debating on renegotiation this got dragged further.

Like member here pointed out . This needs to handled maturely by both which now requires to move on.
I did but he again started this sh!t.

The whole issue is not about the money, it is about the condition of the phone bezels... I negotiated again and the buyer agreed, there ended the matter
This should never have been discussed here.

Today he paid me 2k and I have returned it back, matter was closed but unnecessarily people like you are interfering and making it even worse and blowing it out of proportion.

Let the admins take a call on this negotiation matter and set a forum rule.. I have not broken any forum rule.

People should stop preaching others about ethics and morality and have look at themselves in a mirror.
Since you have mentioned it's not about the Money, What would have been your aproach if you were in buyer's shoes?

I guess it’s simple he should have returned the phone .

Why did you return2k it . Should have kept it . Some people just buy from here and resale . I have a strong feeling that buyer did the same . Maybe he sold at a higher value to someone hence all this problem happened.

Also people should stop selling products at dirt cheap price iPhone 13pro at even 60k is quite a bargain

Why keep stirring the pot with such baseless accusations? This is such a bad take.

Could have said that it was a bargain without such accusations.

I think people forget at times that TE is not a B2C portal.
Consumer to consumer transactions can and will always have a lot of subjectivity involved.

I have a 4 year old iphone pro max - to me, it looks damn near pristine.
I also know people who are very particular about the minutest imperfection and will probably hold the screen and bezels against sunlight to check for micro-scratches (e.g. I had a buyer for an ipad on TE who wanted me to ship it for him to check for this before he pays - i politely refused)

Neither party is wrong in such a case but expectations do need to be tempered / realistic in C2C sales.

A long time ago, i had sold a mobo on TE. Post the sale, the buyer was super impatient to get the mobo and continued to text/call me incessantly to ship it quick which annoyed me… (his mistake as trading is not seller’s full time job on such a sale)

In the ensuing hurry, I also missed to pack the SATA cables that came with mobo (my mistake)
The pissed off buyer created a similar thread on TE, my already pissed self and my ego got hurt and I lashed back.. so did he.
In hindsight, both of us were wrong in our own ways.

If there is an expectation mismatch post a sale, a refund is the best option. Unfortunately in this case, the circumstances of the sale make it impossible.

The way I see it, neither party is wrong. Its just somewhat unfortunate circumstances. The constant flow of judgmental posts seem to be hurting the seller (which you should ignore @MarioBros ) and the buyer is hurt because he likely made a recommendation to a friend which probably did not live up to the expectations leading to him probably feeling a bit silly @rkkaranrk .. something that may not have happened if it were a personal purchase for himself.

I dont think there is any malafide intent on either side and just a few months down the line, both of you would have forgotten the incident and moved on
