bought the cheap sunrom switches by the dozen and got it replaced at a local electronics repair shop. i'm still learning soldering and didn't wanna wreck a good legacy mouse

Accidentally broke Xiaomi Mi trimmer usb charging cable end, searched online didn't find its replacement anywhere..
Took matters in own hands, watched a youtube video of an Indian guy explaining how to fix regular USB smartphone cable,
sacrificed 2-3 old damaged usb cables lying in drawer , and finally was able to fix it. Works fine so far.
had a evil laugh in mind imagining that spider-man meme : Maybe i am something of a scientist myself

Instead of paying 2K+ for 4-way smart switch modules, decided to make my own. What could go wrong?

Those relays are desgined for 10A @ 250VAC. Connect devices which require 10A or less and you should be good.
Yup! have purchased other 16A smart plugs for geysers etc, these are only for lights, fans etc

All my search ends in Aliexpress or Ebay, both won't ship here, and no sellers in India.
Thanks! I bought it from a site called qualityelectro. But that was two years ago, not sure if the site is operational as I have not seen any new products listed there. There are also some electronic component stores (not sure if I can post links here, im new) but I have not used these sites so proceed with caution. The bigger problem is getting the suitable lvds cables for your display. I got mine from Aliexpress pre covid.
The boards are mostly universal i.e they support many resolution by flashing different firmware. I would suggest to find the cable first and later buy the board

how do you power it though? Any I/O ports on this like 3.5mm jack or USB?
Powered via a 18650 li ion battery, no aux, just Bluetooth.

People also use spare screen to create transparent monitor affect for desktop PCs. Even the display has multiple layers and this is done by only taking the LCD layer. It looks cool too.
