Inverter With UPS Mode Not Handling 2 PC's

Inverter :- Luminous Cruze 2kva (Power Rating of 1680W)

Earlier I had a single Gaming PC with Deepcool PQ1000M PSU and the inverter was able to handle and the PC was not Restarting.
Recently I setup Another Gaming PC with Antec EA750g Pro Gold PSU and now I'm getting issues of Restart during power outage.

When Both Of them are Plugged in and drawing Like 300-400W each and power outage occurs then the inverter is unable to handle them and making both of them restart. (even when the inverter has UPS Mode enabled) No issue occurs when only One of them is Plugged in.

The PC's shouldn't Restart as the inverter should be able to handle the load. Moreover the inverter is still able to run the same systems for Several Hours if I try to use the PC's after Restart.

Except the PC's there are 2 Monitors,Router, Some Fans And Lights Attached. I've tested by Switching Off Lights/Fans and Chargers But The issue still Occurs.

Can anyone tell why it is happening and solutions to it??

check the fuse or batteries for loose connection. also check if the battery are not empty. rest it should not be an issue at least.

Since PC's run smoothly after restart, so condition of battery and inverter is good. Restart doesn't occur due to overload. During overload, inverter makes long beep and cuts battery supply. May be the UPS/ECO mode switch is faulty that's causing the delay in power shift. Normally ECO mode has 10 millisecond delay in shift.
Fellow members can provide more help if you provide more info about both of your gaming pc, power consumption of the monitors connected. BTW how old is your battery and what's the Ah rating?

If both your PC are on the same "circuit" then max around 1100 to 1200 watts can be drawn I presume?

240v X 5a is the calculation?

Try connection to separate phases or different circuit or switchboard...

I'm not well versed with electricals but seems like your 2 PC are overload a single line.

But No Issue Occurs When Only One PC is connected.

PC 1 :- Rtx 3080Ti FE + 5950x
PC 2 :- Zotac RTX 3070Ti + 5900x
Both Have LG 27gl850 Monitor
Battery And Inverter are 9 Months Old and Both Battery connected to inverter are 150ah.

Yes Both Of them are on a Single Switchboard.

I normally got a refill after 6 months or so like a topup so that they are not dry even if there was no heavy load. just check the cables as sometimes those also matter. and ask the inverter guy to check for other things as well. should be covered under maintenance ...

If it is a case of overloading: try 50% powerlimit using msi afterburner on both graphics card just for testing things out, and you will have an answer if it is due to load.

Don't expect too much out of UPS mode of home inverter. Usable high current power would be ~1100watts with new batteries.

This could be the issue then if both PC are running on high load (gaming session) and drawing more than the 1100 or 1200 watt max capacity of the sockets? Not an issue with your inverter.

Do you have different phases or maybe a separate physical switchboard around you can connect your other PC to?

I had a similar issue that I've mentioned in another comment last year. It has to do with using a home inverter instead of an online UPS.

For flawless switching to happen during a power cut, enough electricity needs to be stored somewhere while the inverter switches to battery in however milliseconds it needs. In a normal setup, this energy is stored in the capacitors of your power supply and your inverter. Between those two, you had enough 'reserve' to survive the switch without restarts with a single system. When you added a second system, the equation changed and it's no longer enough.

The solution is a larger power supply for your second system. Even something one tier up may fix this issue, going from 750w to 850w. This is because the larger power supply has larger capacitors. If you're gaming then you may need a 1000w power supply.

This only happens when you're using a home inverter as a UPS, a proper online UPS wouldn't need this but then those costs much, much more than a home inverter.

For my scenario, I had a few systems with 450w power supplies pulling 50w at idle and they were not affected during the switchover to battery. But I had another system with a 550w power supply pulling 150w and that always rebooted. I replaced the 550w power supply with a 650w of the exact same series and it no longer reboots during a power cut. That 550w power supply works fine in lower power draw system during a power cut.

Any other solution?? Will adding a ups of 600W solve the issue?? As it costs me 5k for UPS and 10k for 1000W PSU. Which one would be best option??

Go for the 5k UPS as that is cheaper and it needs to handle the load for few milliseconds until your inverter kiks in
Yes I went with Artis 1000 Va Inverter and my issue seems to have resolved. But sometimes the artis ups switches off itself with a long Beep and red light even when the mains is on. It has happened twice in last 10 days. Is it because the ups is being charged by an inverter?? Or there could be any else issue??

Hey guys, I find myself in a similar dilemma, have bought the Luminous 2300 Eco volt (https://www.luminousindia.com/eco-volt-neo-2300.html), with guaranteed output wattage of 1600W with 125AH x 2 batteries (dont need longer backup and the building has a genset), I have connected the entire house (2 BHK) lights and fans, as you guys mentioned, when the system is idling, with switch over, the PC is fine, but with full load, 5950x +3080 + CM850 gold sfx, it restarts. Interesting thing is when I switch to Inverter and the boot the PC and play the game, its is able to take the load without fuss, I think this maybe related to @rsaeon that it is not able to provide immediate power during the switch over, however this same PC was running fine with Microtek 1KVA in Chennai. Really confused, tomorrow the Luminous guy is going to come and troubleshoot.

Check If Your Inverter is in Eco Mode or UPS Mode. On Eco Mode (Unregulated Mode) of my Luminous Inverter I get no Issues With Antec PSU, But Deepcool PSU Always Required the inverter to be in UPS Mode (Regulated Mode)
Its on UPS mode, are you saying I should try with Eco mode?
