Would placing the case horizontally not help in this regard?
Unfortunately no,
1. In the 3 fan design(2 fan design also), when we have positive pressure inside the case, the hot air from the first fan(fan near the pcie power socket) is pushed towards the back of the case where there is enough holes for it to escape, but the last fan(near the case) sucks that hot air in, and as this fan is directly responsible for cooling the gpu core, it heats up and creates a loop
2. When the fans are at 80%+ speed(even less also), hot air(My estimate is about 20% or less) bounces off the side panel and gets sucked in by the same fan or the fan near or the next gpu's fan creating loop effect in the long run
3. Most of the AIB have backplates that also works as a passive heatshink, these back plates sits few mm from the next gpu's core cooling fan, these fans suck in all the heat(my estimate more than 50% at positive pressure and more than 80% at neutral pressure) and will heat up the gpu core even more than the first gpu, and the chain continues.
These issues do happens irrespective of the case orientation. Only solution is to take the air in at the front and pipe it out the back with no chance of air escaping, blower models are excellent at this.

Using riser cables to orient them like in a mining rig would be better right? Ofcourse if dust isn't a major problem. A jank solution could be to remove shrouds of all GPUs and then just blow air using fans on the side panel(the opposite way they're designed to i.e. fresh air from the side and hot air out of the rest) with the airflow going straight into the heatsink.
I will reiterate my point once more strongly here , warranty if yes then invoice must be posted. If invoice posted then price must not be masked . I'm sure this will help sell al lot more second hand products . Also the number of times a thread can be bumped should be limited , this is a tech forum first after all and then a marketplace for used items. Lot of good people post lot of items for good prices here and that is always good for the growth of this forum .
Ever since the GPU shortage of 2021, people have been selling GPUs like the age of the card has no bearing on the price. I routinely see people asking for lower price for a 6-month old card by quoting the pricing of a similar performing 3-year old card on sale by someone else.
People seem to have forgotten that GPUs have finite life span and a 5 year old card might as well die within a year. According to me, the risk is far too high when buying a card older than 3 years.
It was understandable during the crisis when people were willing to pay insane amounts. But now that things are back to normal, sellers should understand that just like any other product, prices of graphics cards also fall with age.

If this is without accessories, 8000 including shipping is the maximum I'd suggest. I'm currently using a used Pixel 3 I bought from OLX of all places, for 8200 last year. 4/5 condition. Volume button had some paint worn off. Minor scratches on the back panel. Japan SKU. eSIM disabled. Pretty much the same shit, minus the "corrupt phone" messages and the pregnancy.

He might be needing some in hand cash for some purpose as mentioned in the reason. But, yeah that is one God-tier photography phone beating the likes of samsung's flagships. Though, I've heard that selfie camera is not that great or might be some biased review out there. You can throw better light on this.
