Does CEX ship to other cities?

So i came across a product which I wanted to buy and the online retail prices were too high. Found the same available on cex but it's in Mumbai while I'm from Chennai.

Does CEX ship their products to different cities? I know we can claim warranty in a different city as described in their warranty statement but there is no information on this shipping.

The package is on the heavier side, ~10kg and it's electronic and moving components.

I have emailed them ~2 days ago no response yet.
Have you guys purchased from cex? How was your experience and do they ship to different city?

Does cex have a store in chennai? If yes, ideally they should ship.

Why don't you try putting it in the card and adding your pincode...that should give you a prompt if it can be delivered or not.

No they don't ship. You can request them to pack it nicely and pick it up from Dunzo to your friend's place then ask him to ship it to you.
Ok and how she been your experience with cex and their warranty terms? If you've had experience with them that is.

nope. cant seem to see it. if you can see can you pls share SS. tks

I had requested for them to get a GPU over at their Bangalore store from Ahmedabad before during covid time, they would take up the request but they would only get it based on the demand, if there's already a good demand at the source, they would not do it.
In your case the package seems to be big and the added expenses and risk might not interest them.
The fastest way to contact them is via call, you can usually get the contact number from google maps.

I just did this today and spoke to the store manager and he agreed to ship it to my nearest cex which is like 1.5km away. I can go there and collect it and the two years warranty would also apply. But I'd have to pay them in advance.

With a catch

I'd need to either UPI then in advance or go to my nearby cex store and buy vouchers worth the product amount and then give them the code via an email or call. He said the amount needs to come to his store. I can't directly swipe for the product at the Chennai store as it's available in Mumbai.

I think that's a fair asking from a business point of view, it's just added shipping cost and their time if the buyer never shows up to make a purchase.
Just ask them if you would get a full refund if the product is damaged or defective at the time of collecting.
Vouchers in particular might not be refundable as per my knowledge.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. Vouchers aren't refundable to cash. Plus skeptical about sharing voucher codes over email or WhatsApp and stuff.

I havent used CEX. But some guys from here had arranged local delvivery to my place and then I shipped it to them. @prabs Can given better inputs
Apologies for the late reply. Cex doesn't ship to other cities. They don't even ship within city nowadays. They only cooperated during and a bit before covid depending on the manager of the store.
