Flipkart - Feedback Thread

@dissel did you get your refund?
Seeing so many fraud stories, I stopped buying from fraudkart from 2015. But there are some exclusive deals missed those.

Yes... they gave my money back completely, only because I have such strong video evidence.

You can order from FK but during delivery / after delivery, the video footage is a must. Now they offer 'open box delivery' for Mobile Phones meaning the delivery agent will open the box in front of you, I didn't order any phone after this incident but I order a similar priced electronic product from them and it went safe and secure, Product is not 'open box delivery' - I unbox it later with video footage.

Tips to Buy :

1. If the delivery is open box category - Shoot your mobile handheld but before proceeding further ask for the delivery personnel's name on the camera, So it is logged as evidence, it will come in handy if the delivery boy is also involved in the heist, then record the entire video by pointing the camera to your package...If you are not present at the delivery location/day ask someone to do it for you, Trained them beforehand.

2. If the delivery is normal then, please use a tripod to mount your phone so that when the actual product shows up during unboxing i,e brick/soap, etc you got a clear view. If your friends or family hold the camera/phone during the moment of need they may lose focus of the frame due to shock which FK officials and Delivery fulfillment - logistic people (<---Actual Criminal) get the upper hand.

3. If the mishap happened upload /send the 'Uncut' version of the video to the FK Officials without any editing - If your product unboxing is one hour, don't worry they will watch. Youtube 'unlisted' video is the best way to do it....

4. If you shoot a product unboxing video at night with your room lights and you happen to live in a power cut-prone area make sure you got inverter backup/battery backup lights, and turn on them beforehand - your video must not have the slightest feeling that you altered anything.

5. Once uploaded it is time to attack; just publicly post the Youtube 'Unlisted' link to their Twitter handle and see the magic - At this point of time keep your Phone and Email address on watch.

6. Never express/utter any bad word to any FK officials who are in call/email communication with you....they are not the culprit here.

Flipkart don't publish reviews for products that make the seller or product look bad. I've seen a few of my reviews fail their system because I said bad things of the product.

First one was on pixel 6a phone. I mentioned in my review that 5g was not available and they are selling is as 5g enabled phone. This was before the crappy update that enables 5g in the phone. Also mentioned that the phone isn't worth 30k when it performs like a phone around 20k and guess what? Not published.

Second review - I bought Edifier bluetooth earphones from FK and got sent an old open box with ear tips missing. There was just 1 unit in stock with the seller and no doubt even that unit is some old open box. So I didn't send back the item since it's just replace policy. No refund. I tried writing a review on FK and FK won't publish this review.

What is the use of the review system if they won't publish bad reviews? This is just misleading people to buy bad products imo.

dont buy from flipkart guys unless open box guys and only on CC so you can chargeback. i got scammed. I bought 1000W deepcool PSU and inside the box were bags of salt. now i am fighting since 10 days to get replacement or refund.
did u not get open box delivery?
every electronic iten with no return has that option.
recently saw some guy on reddit get a 5600g instead of 5600, dude didnt even bother to check the item first then give the otp to the delivery boy.

actually that happened to a lot guys. apparently flipkart has been market all 5600 5600x 5600G as 5600 so its your luck what you will get.

Did you take a video of unboxing the item

Today, I did exactly what you said. Flipkart closed the case stating return isn't available now, I had asked them to honor warranty on flipkart branded item (nothing to do with return). There's no button to reopen the cases.
Dunno if tagging Flopkart, Walmart and Ministry of Consumer Affairs on Social Media works any more. Otherwise Consumer court is the only other alternative.

God damn... that is so awful!

And the nerve to deny a refund! Man I hope the unboxing video saves you and you get your money back after consumer forum complaint.

But one thing I can't understand:

The 1000W Deepcool PSU's on Flipkart all have 'Open Box Delivery' option on them. Why didn't you have Flipkart's Delivery Guy open the box at the time of delivery before giving him the OTP? Did you just give the Delivery Guy the OTP and not have him open the box? In that case you would have discovered that the product was not even in the box and was replaced by packs of Salt instead! Or, were you not home at the time of delivery and someone else received the parcel on your behalf and shared the OTP?

You cannot reopen it but you can create a new case referencing the old one. I had similar issues with another merchant and they eventually agreed to refund.

Meanwhile, for the past 4 days all items are undeliverable at my pincode. Customer support is only through calls for which they simply call and disconnect before I can pick up. I could waste time escalating but their customer service is truly a joke.
