WTB LG C2 42 OLED or 32ich 4k High refresh monitors.

Thanks for clearing this up. However what about burn in. AW3423DF is meant to be used as monitor hence has mechanism to greatly reduce burn in risk while C2 is meant to be used as TV, hence risk is greater when repurposed as monitor.
What are your thoughts regarding this. Sorry for bothering but I'm also looking into buying a C2, so want to make sure few things.
Also 42 inch C2 price is around 98k in Amazon. While you can get AW3423DF and Neo G8 Oled for 1.19k around 19k difference not far cheaper actually.
I got the C2 for 73K from Reliance Digital during the Diwali sale last year. You just gotta wait for that right deal.

As for Burn in, I'm not babying my C2 in any way. I'm using it like any other regular monitor (Static wallpaper, No Auto hide taskbar etc), So it could happen to me quicker, Or it may not, I won't know until it happens to me. But I will continue to use it like a normal monitor. But LG has been in the OLED Market for a longer time, and their new EVO panels (the one used in the C2) are much more resilient to Burn-In. It's also evident in the long term Burn in test performed by Rtings (checkout the video below), Samsung QD-Oled fared the worst in these tests.

My C2 is now 7 months old, has got 1236 hours of Screen on time and is only used as a monitor averaging about 12 Hrs of (work + Gaming)/playstation use every day and does not have burn in Yet. Finger's crossed, it stays that way!.

Well got the C2 now, any tips on avoiding burnin.. i've already done the good old hide taskbar and have all protection features on? image shifting is slightly annoying

anyone knows if the 3 years warranty covers burn in or not?

I'm honestly not following any burn in tips. But I know I'm taking a risk and I'm absolutely fine with it. Want to see how far it can go as a normal monitor.

Do run the pixel refresher often, the TV automatically reminds you every few days.

Yes, the 3 years warranty covers burn in as confirmed by the salesperson and the guy who came to do installation.

Is it a new one, you sure it's not a display unit ? I have heard that C2 is going even for 65k in some offline stores but they are selling display units only that cheap
Same for me. I bought mine in November, box said OCT manufactured. One thing I noticed was that it was made in their factory in Pune. So even with higher taxes, it's locally made, so the cheaper price. I got mine for 73k.

Your best bet is to get the Samsung Neo G7. Its the best monitor if you want anything close to OLED in terms of PQ. Also you can turn off the front gamer lights from the options. Its really beautiful and it feels similar to an OLED 90% of the time and more brighter and off course no tension of burn-in. You can get is for around 66k after bank discount. If you want the best panel lottery get it directly from samung website.

Any OLED monitor right now is 1L +.

Thanks for the suggestions but the damages are already done with the LG C2 if you go through the comments.

People with LG C2, please get an extended warranty. My CX (used as TV) went kaput after 2.5 years of use, LG promptly replaced it though.

Sadly, you are right. I do get 2 years additional warranty. But burn in is not covered.

Looking to replace M7 32" monitor to LG C3 42". Usage is purely for programming/visual studio.

Please let me know is this good to go? Already tested text visual in C9 55" and I'm fine with that. But looking for long term usage feedback from you guys who all using C2 42 as monitor.

@CeyeN are you still using Taskbar without auto hide? And no image retention yet?

@others, let me know your experience with C3 42 as monitor.
