UPDATE on Sapphire GPU.

Just called Ark Infotech today.
got to talk with the support person.
enquired about the sapphire warranty issue.
they told me to wait a bit .
Received a phone call later.
They confirmed 3 YEAR WARRANTY on my radeon 6700 from the DATE OF BILLING and also that they provide Rma for sapphire.


when i mentioned 6700, they asked whether it was purchased from Flipkart.
Rejoice my fellow sapphire gpu users.

This applies to any card that has Ark infotech as their importer.
flipkart cards definitely has that.

You should confirm with them about warranty if the importer is different.
they have support number and email in their website.
 
Fortunately the only supertron imported card I own is installed at my parents' and I have no intention of going through the RMA trouble myself if it does kick the bucket. Nice to know that the new Sapphire importer is doing things that are friendlier to the customer.
