Iconic Torrent Site RARBG Shuts Down, All Content Releases Stop

Meanwhile, which site to use though? TPB is extremely slow (wrt to download speed) for most of what I intend namely movies which were released more than 10 years ago and going farther back, while 1337 doesn't have quality contents, or at least what I root for.

Somebody here had mentioned of a service which converts torrents to direct links for download, but that was too expensive for me.

you can try torrentleach.
they are having an open signup right now.
its a private tracker tho.
you need to seed for 10days or upload the same size to avoid hit n run.

I'll check this site. 10 days meaning I've to upload for 240 hrs? Well that's at least something better than the current 336 hrs criteria of IPT, which i don't use particularly for this reason. Other than the fact no significant volume is ever uploaded even when the torrent is new, thanks to kwality Indian isps.

Right now, the best public tracker is https://1337x.to
It should have all the latest releases. Also has much Indian language content that was missing on RARBG.

Sorry to say, both are closed registration, even I could not get one... these are well known for desi stuff - bwtorrent desitorrent
 
Haven't visited a torrent website in years after setting up *arr servers locally and enabling the most common websites for scraping. Even if the automated search doesn't turn up the desired results, it is still easy to search for the file across all the websites without ever visiting them.

Indian version of Blu-ray/DVD are all censored. No use buying foreign movies in India if you want uncensored stuff. And the mastering quality of the discs are bad too. Better to pirate than buy low quality useless stuff.

I think the UHD versions are mostly imported and uncensored.
 
This thread was about a torrent site closing down, for you pretend intellects, I request you all to please keep your gyans to yourself and stay on topic? Hard to do?
 
So many memories brought back! When KAT was shut down, I was quite sad. It wasn't only a torrent site but a community, that is lost forever.
Only a handful of good torrent sites remaining now...
