Budget 51-70k Which is best 1650,3050 or 5600m in laptop ?

1650 is undoubtly out of the question as its way too old now. So it comes down to 3050 or 5600m & it depends on other factors like what games do you plan on playing, are you going to connect to external monitor or not etc.

I am planning to play on external monitor, mainly fps games like cs and valorant.

What size & resolution monitor? How many years do you plan on using this laptop? Would you be looking to upgrade storage/ram at any time in the future? Do you have a brand preference or a brand that you do NOT want to get?

For full-power GPUs, 3050 is still faster than 5500M. 3050 is like 10-15% faster than 5500M.

Which laptop are you considering with 5600M? That might be on par with 3050 but the extra VRAM will help. I remember an old Dell G15 with 4600H + 5600M, don't remember any other.

Under your budget, you can find Acer Nitro 5, Ideapad Gaming 3, Dell G5 and old-gen Lenovo legion 5. These laptops have the most wattage for 3050 and usually cheap out on displays. If you always play games using the external monitor, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

i saw this dell g5 15 se ate around 50k, it has 5600m I guess, should I go for it ?
Where?

R5 4600H + 5600M model had some heating issues initially, heard it got rectified in a later BIOS update to some extent. But still, at 50k, that will likely outperform the rest, mainly 1650 or 5500M.

Cooling pads like the one with fans barely make any difference. You just need to make sure that the bottom intake is not blocked so keep it on a flat surface. Raising it somewhat using books as a makeshift stand will improve the temps further.

Just that the cooling stands with fans are an absolute waste. Repasting both CPU and GPU with a good thermal paste like Gelid GC Extreme makes so much improvements in games. Also, undervolting reduces excess heat and you can eliminate throttling to some extent.

Use a stand like that.

Repasting is needed every year IMO. Clean dust on fans & vents as well from time to time. Most places in India are very dusty.
I had bought a Amazon basic laptop stand, build like a tank and is a much better option than this one.quite large and heavy plus meshed so can be customised with height and cable adjustment as per your wishes Deal of the day: Amazon Basics Ventilated Height Adjustable Laptop Cooling Pad/Laptop Stand | Compatible 11 to 17 Inches Laptops | Metal Mesh | Strong Material Stand Tabletop https://amzn.eu/d/0zkpshl using it for 3 yrs now easy to clean got the black variet for acer predator 2019 varient and then added a colling pad on top. Laptop never crosses 80 even under loads

I don't recommend that because of its size. Other one is foldable, so helps while travelling.

idk anything about undervolting. How to do it ?
For intel CPUs, there is a program called ThrottleStop. You can decrease voltages in steps of your CPU, Cache, iGPU. For advanced users there are more tweaks which you can follow a guide or watch a YT video to learn how to do it.

For Ryzen Mobile CPUs, it's a bit tricky and afaik not possible currently. You can reduce power limits but that is a different thing than undervolting altogether.

3050 but individual parts do not mean as much as overall system config. There is no absolute 'best', just the best combination for your use-case at a point in time.
