Original Dell 180W AC Adapter with 7.4*5 mm round pin (DA180PM111) + Free Dell Thunderbolt Docking station (WD19TB)

This is the adapter which came with a Thunderbolt Docking station which was bought from a fellow TE member in 2022.
Unfortunately, my office IT refused to update my laptop BIOS to support the dock, so couldn't even test the the dock. The dock and adapter were in storage from that time.
Now that I have another docking station from office, I will not be needing it anymore.
I am pricing it only for the adapter, as I have not seen the docking station in working state even once. It may or may not work, I am not claiming that it does.
It is not getting detected with my current Lenovo T14s Thinkpad. The dock is getting powered on, so I think the adapter is working. (I don't have anything with the 7.4mm socket to test it with)

Expected price: 2500/- + shipping
Buyer will receive: Adapter, Power Chord, Docking station with attached Thunderbolt (Type C) cable
Warranty: 2 days testing warranty from date of delivery (with video proof of unboxing and non-working)

Hey, I want the docking station, but if it doesn't work, the adapter itself will be no use to me. Will you take it back if it doesn't work? We can share the shipping cost.

Hey, is the dock compatible with macbooks as well ? I have one dell and a macbook to be used on this

The dock is free. So no returns. And hence the low price.

Sorry, I don't know.
I think the support for Thunderbolt is generally sketchy. But then again, I'm not selling the dock as I don't know whether it is working at all, it is free with the adapter.

but 2500 for the other charger seemed too much.
For the benefit of the community, please share any reliable source where the charger is available for much less. Will also help me in the future to determine the price, because i had priced it after doing a cursory search on Google with the model number.

We both know that you could have never sold it for 2500 if you hadn't included the "free dock". It is available for 3500 new. So, the price of 2500 for a 5-6 year old charger is too much.
I was also tempted by the "free dock" but some things in your listing didn't make sense such that it never worked. Why would you not say anything to the seller when it didn't work in the beginning. Moreover, everything has USB-C nowadays and one could easily test this with a phone. I don't know of a laptop in the last couple of years which doesn't have a USB-C port.
Why would you buy something and put it in storage immediately? So, I didn't approach you. @Zino took the gamble and he lost. But, I think the house was always going to win.

So I guess you don't have a cheaper source for the adapter, which should still make the deal a good one.
Yes, the dock was free with the adapter

No. It was a bad deal, a very bad deal.
To quote a certain @ememm (via PM)
Also, even at 4.5k the discount for 2-3 years old item is just 25% from current Amazon price, which makes it an okayish deal, not a great one.

So all this bickering is because I refused your offer! That's hilarious.
No. It just shows that you "took" the buyer and it was a bad deal according to you. I was really interested in this product as I missed it couple of years back when it was originally listed here.

Or you were too hung up on the refused offer to express interest in my listing.
I'll be amused if it was so easy to 'take' someone from this community of tech enthusiasts, let alone someone with 150+ feedback.
Anyways, i don't think we are adding anything of value to the community in this conversation. So I'll ask @puns to lock the thread as both buyer and seller has exchanged positive feedback.
PM me if you're genuinely interested to know why it was put in storage after it didn't work for me.

I don't know why you are giving so much importance to your refusal to buy an item from me (at a price that you offered an hour prior). Why would I care? You changed your mind. (That item is also sold. So, why would I care?)

I do care that you most likely misrepresented your degree of testing of the dock. There is no way that you didn't test it with at least a phone, a computer or a friend's computer as you are also a tech enthusiast. I don't buy your "I don't know. It may work or it may not work." I am sure that you knew that it didn't work. There was no way that you were selling it for cheap if there was any chance that it was working.

No. I am not genuinely interested in your reason for why it was put in storage after you bought it as I do not believe it.
I am genuinely interested in why you didn't test it with a phone? Why you didn't test it with a personal laptop? Or why you didn't test it with a friend's or a neighbor's laptop?

I have not seen a single explanation of the real issue at hand that why didn't you test. You are just diverting the topic by questioning my motivations of why I am calling you out. I can assure you that it has nothing to do with you not buying a Rs. 4,000 item. I wouldn't even remember you if it were not for your unusual username.
