Actually, I have Intel i7 2600 processor that might be a laptop processor which I used in my Desktop setup, but I am not sure.
Whenever I see the device, Microsoft Account shows it as a Laptop!
I also have a Intel i5 3470S processor.
But I think its a fully Desktop processor.

There are PGA sockets as well. I have a laptop from HP having FCPGA988 socket supports CPU swapping. BTW this is the exact socket for 3rd gen laptop motherboard the OP must have.

socket is 988B rPGA.
chipset is HM76. right now running processor is i3 2330M.

Well then, that's new to me. So it seems like there are multiple sockets for the same generation of CPUs in laptops (at least from intel). I have an HM75 board with FCPGA988 socket running i3-3110M right now.
Anyways, this would be very hard find here. You need to reach out scrap dealers or laptop repair shops which might have one just in-case from a dead board.
