Hello friends,

This thread is in accordance to the requirements that I mentioned in my thread -

I am looking to buy all the parts that goes into building such a PC. I would prefer to buy the complete rig in one go, otherwise I am open to buying the individual parts from different members.

Reason for buying it second hand is that it is a temporary solution for me and I am expecting that I will get a decent/reasonable discount on the second hand parts, depending on the remaining warranty, compared with the current prices available at https://pcpricetracker.in/

  • CPU - In order of preference -
First preference - Ryzen 9
Second preference - Ryzen 7
Third preference - Intel i9
Forth preference - Intel i7

  • Motherboard - Any compatible Motherboard which would give good overall performance.
  • RAM - minimum 64 GB but 128 GB is preferred
  • SSD - 4 TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 or Gen5 for main OS Drive, plus I need to buy a few 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD extra as well.
  • HDD - 2 Normal Hard Drives of 8 TB or 10 TB capacity each, for data storage
  • PSU - 1000 or 1500 W, depending upon this configuration plus 2 GPU for running 8 monitors of 4K UHD resolution.
  • CPU cooler - One which would be able to maintain CPU temperature even during high CPU load and long duration continuous usage
  • UPS - 2KVA
  • 4k Monitors - I need multiple monitors of 4K UHD resolution but without any frills
  • GPU - need 2 GPU like T600 (nVidia Quadro grade) without any frills

If you can please checkout my above mentioned thread, then that will give you detailed explanations about my requirements, but I am copy pasting a few key points here for easy reference -

Please note that I do zero video gaming and zero movie watching etc. And this PC will be used for professional data analysis work only and not for any types of entertainment etc.

All I really need is good data crunching power, therefor I will prefer to buy the CPU+MB+RAM+SSD keeping this particular aspect in mind. The RAM should be capable of giving good performance depending upon the compatibility of the CPU and MB. I would prefer to buy the 32 GB sticks instead of 16 GB ones, because I intend to add 128 GB RAM to this PC. But if I am not able to find that, then I will settle with 16 GB sticks and a total of 64 GB RAM.

And since my work involves heavy data READ AND WRITE operations, therefor I will buy only those M.2 NVMe SSD which are suitable for such user case, I do not need slower SSD.

Depending upon the number of slots available on the motherboard, I am open to buying multiple SSD of 2 TB or above. I do not need 1 TB drives. If I am unable to find any proper second hand SSD then I will simply buy a piece of 4 TB and 2 TB Samsung 990 pro from @Ankit Manchanda https://techenclave.com/threads/samsung-new-open-box-ssds.216270/page-5

Same way, if I am not able get any good deals on normal hard drives, then I will buy a few drives from @aasimenator https://techenclave.com/threads/large-capacity-hdds-6tb-20tb.217402/page-6#post-2513112

Regarding monitors, any 4K UHD monitors are fine with me, as I would not require any fancy features of fast refresh rates or color accuracy etc. for these monitors, because all I would be watching on these screens is just the Stock Market Charts and Graphs and Data Tables etc. No movie or Video Games type of stuff would ever be done on them. I am buying UHD 4k monitors only because they give me a huge number of pixels and great amount of SCREEN SPACE, which I will need to watch a lot of different charts simultaneously. Lower resolution monitors will not be able to provide me that much of screen real estate. I need multiple monitors, therefor if any seller has got more then 1 monitor for selling, I will give preference to him.

Same goes for the GPU as well, I just need a simple GPU which is capable of running 4 monitors of UHD 4k resolution at one time. No other special feature is needed from these GPU as they will not be used for any gaming or for doing any computations of any types, because my software do not support GPU based data processing work.

If you know anyone who might be interested in selling any of above mentioned parts, then please do let me know. And if you need any more clarifications regarding anything, please do not hesitate in asking. I will explain everything in more details, whenever needed. Any help that anyone can provide in suggesting and/or sourcing these required components would be great.

Thank you so much for your time.

You can also just get a newer gen board with DDR5 and Gen 5 PCIE NVME slot

Thank you so much for this offer @aasimenator

Please try to see if arranging Ryzen 9 is a possibility, because as mentioned in the OP, Intel i9 is number third on the priority list. But in case I am unable to find the better options, then I will settle with i9 as well. So let us see what other friends have to offer.

Don't you have any fast SSD's and RAM's etc. as well?
