Experiences with Sarvam Shop?

They have been recommended to me in the past, even on this site once, but I just want to do a final check before I buy a MiniGT model, since they seem to have price parity with other markets on this particular brand. (Even KarznDolls have MiniGTs at about the same price, have MiniGT got BIS certification?)

I have bought from Sarvam regularly until 2022. Mostly Tarmac models. Prices were slightly better than other sellers.

Met the owner at a scale model meet, nice guy. Some of the brands he has are sourced from Karzndolls.

AFAIK. Matchbox got certification and HotWheels recently. Can't say for MiniGT.

Thanks for the info, I feel a little secure now. I know HotWheels did, but it's still damn near impossible to find them anywhere. The only city I saw them in was Bangalore, and even that was only in a few areas

You can interact with the shop on Instagram. Generally responsive. However, the collection hasn't been updated other than MiniGT's in recent times.

Hotwheels are scooped up by scalpers these days and re-sold at an inflated price. Shops in Bangalore mostly stock less popular models these days bought for kids.

I texted them on Thursday asking if they are running any discounts or coupon codes at the moment and got no response, which is why I made this post.

For real man. I was talking to a guy who was selling a few at "offers accepted", and he priced them at 750. When I asked him why so high even for Indian units he started cussing out his reseller, saying that this was the only way to stay afloat. Scalpers are truly some of the worst of humanity

Sarvam is a genuine one and famous among diecasters. I have bought from them only once though but still recommended.

Yes, this scalping has been going on since lockdown. And not to mention just recently I had a very pathetic exp. with one scalping member here itself if you read that post. People who use words like help and zero profits then tend to show their true colors..

So, Sarvam Shop is not answering any calls, which definitely doesn't bode well. The particular model I'm looking for doesn't seem to be available anywhere else in India as well, so for anyone still watching this thread, is there any way I can source a MiniGT #360 - Porsche 911 (992) GT3 GT Silver Metallic here in India? KarznDolls has a GT3 in Guards Red, but this is meant to be a gift, so I'd like to get this exact colour if possible.

@kalph09 @nRiTeCh They replied to me on Instagram this morning, and on WhatsApp in the afternoon. They confirmed that the GT3 in question is indeed in stock with them (somehow) and that I should go ahead and place the order. I just did, fingers crossed that hopefully he gets the item safely

^ He should ship it shortly, generally ships them next day and follow ups via whatsapp.

Looks like the owner is back updating stock status after a 2 month break on Instagram. He's still in business.

They usually maintain accurate inventory but for a first time buyer its an obvious anxiety thing. Glad they responded. You can place your order without worrying.

@kalph09 @nRiTeCh He got it! My friend received the model just this morning! I was starting to get worried as they hadn't updated the order status on the website but my friend got the shipping info the very next day (as @kalph09 said) so I was a bit relieved. He got the model this morning, and he LOVES it, so I'm happy. Looks like I'll be ordering from Sarvam fairly often now. Thank you guys for your help and support.
