Budget 0-20k Help me choose a 27" 1440p Monitor

Acer SA272U E listed at 12.9k before discount. The xv272u hasn't come back in stock yet. Near 10k diff between this Acer and the LG27GRQ at 22k after discount. Worth going for the acer or is the LG the better option or wait till xv272u is back in stock?
I also had my old monitor checked out at a TV repair shop, one of the cof is faulty, so 3 to 4k to patch it or 8k to replace panel. Given its 8yrs old already I thought I'll upgrade

Random refresh my wishlist on amazon and xv272u was back in stock, placed the order immediately. 17.4k before 5% Apay cashback. Hopefully it'll get delivered on Sunday without any issues. Fingers crossed.

You're incorrect. That isn't the acer Vg271U M3, it's a different model. Infact both Rtings reviews are for different monitors that are being discussed.

OP I recommend either the acer VG271U M3 or XV271U M3 as they're the same, the XV just has a much better stand. The acer XV272U v3 is also a very decent option that has a similar panel with higher brightness (not too important in my case but might matter to you) but doesn't seem to be shipping to a lot of locations.

If you ask people on the r/buildapc discord most of the knowledgeable people there recommended these three monitors and a few others that aren't sold in India sadly ( the Dell G2724D being the most recommended at this price point). I ultimately went with the VG271U M3 as soon as more stock arrived since I am already using a monitor arm so I didn't need the XV271U M3.

I almost fell into the mistake of using hardware unboxed latest monitor guide video but one thing you should know is hardware unboxed is based in Australia and doesn't have access to most modern monitors, even less than we do. They can't really test things that they can't buy, so their monitor recommendations are very outdated considering the newer models available in the market.

Rtings would have access to the new monitors but they prioritise reviewing monitors that people vote for so usually it's the newer tech ones or high end models over the ones most people are buying.

Edit - Didn't notice OP already bought it. Leaving this info here for any future buyers who might get confused with acers naming schemes. Make sure the model numbers are exact or you might be getting a vastly different monitor!

Only the XV272U was deliverable to my pincode so had to go with that.
 
I have been looking to buy acer XV272U v3 but it shows not deliverable. I have tried pincodes of most metro cities in India and find same. It shows deliverable when not logged into Amazon account . After logging in, it shows not deliverable. Can someone check if it is deliverable to you after logging in? If it is a bug, How to contact seller regarding this?!

Both the XV271U V3/KV have a better panel (mostly the same one used in their higher-end Predator line) compared to either of the VG models, it's not similar.

I almost ordered the acer v3 but ended up buying the newly launched Msi G274QPF-E2 for 20k. This monitor is far better than Acer in almost every aspect especially the build quality and bleeding.

The E2 is largely similar to its counterpart, which is the QD, save for some minor differences. The Acer seems to be better, overall.

This is not the same V3 recommended here. This particular is much better than V3. 8bit compared to 10bit. V3 doesn't even have rtings review.
Here's the actual comparison you need to look at.

HDR400 certification on e2 and kv, none on v3

Most importantly E2 has display port 1.4a while V3 has outdated 1.2.

What makes you say that? The XV271u m3 and VG271u m3 are identical monitors with different stands. The Rtings review is for a complete different model of any of the monitors being discussed.

It's too new and there aren't any reviews yet so what makes you say it's better? I've had msi monitors in the past so the build quality is probably better but if it's similar to the MSI G272QPF then its display isn't going to be better than the acers. They have much better panels from AUO so I think sadly marketing works and people just see more features so they think it's better :(

Too many monitors out there to be properly review by enough people so can't really blame the consumers who just go by specs.

I also had to keep checking every few hours for 3~4days before I was able to order it. Went out of stock at my location after I placed the order. Low stock and limited shipping prevents delivery to most of the pincodes.
