00000000 is not a valid serial number, just a placeholder. It shows the same in my pc too.

That's why you don't simply trust stuff online without doing thorough research of your own. Those ppl posting serial no. of ram are doing it on their laptops/oem pc with pre-installed/soldered ram which does show serial no. in many cases. If you have a laptop with soldered ram then run this command there & likely you will see the serial no. there but on any desktop with typically installed ram you will only see the serial no. 00000000.

I dont know the exact reason, but in my opinion the RAM manufacturer's simply do not consider it worthwhile or it is simply too time-consuming or expensive for them.

As for the BIOS, I do not have an Asus motherboard so you should definitely look up your specific motherboard's manual, and if necessary then ask around on the forums and someone who has Asus motherboard might give you more insight regarding the entire process.

I think its safe to keep using the DOCP DDR4-2400 settings. If your PC keeps crashing then you can tune it down a notch, otherwise keep it at 2400.

There are only 3 ram chip manufacturing companies in the world: samsung, micron-crucial & sk hynix so any ram can only have one of these 3 chips. All software like cpuz rely on a database to tell which ram contain what chip & not like they actually analyse ram chip. So if cpuz database maintainer decide that xyz ram contain micron chip then whether it is true or not it will show that same thing.

Thanks. Last question, please check the before and after photos of docp that I have posted above. Not noticing any changes in speed. Should I go back to the auto settings or stick with the docp settings?
One question that comes to mind, this ram and ram by other companies have a supposedly "lifetime warranty" Does that really mean lifetime warranty? What if after 10 years the product is discontinued? @guest_999 @calvin1719 @LinkdJay

Yes. You won't feel any speed difference in daily usage. All you are doing is squeezing out teensy-bit more performance out of your RAM at a negligible cost.
Once again, if you really really want better performance even for normal internet browsing (i.e., keeping even more tabs open in chrome) you should either A) add another 8GB Stick of RAM so that you get both your RAM stick modules performing in dual channel mode; B) Switch OS to one which is less RAM hungry; or C) Do both.

After 10 years DDR4 would be obsolete. By 2034 you would most likely be upgrading or would have already upgraded to a newer PC which would be using DDR5 or DDR6. Anyways, RAM usually does not go bad unless something went castrophically wrong.

Bro just asking to understand this warranty point, how will they honor warranty at that point? Or will they simply say its discontinued F off?

You can't buy new ddr3 ram today from any brand with more than 5 years warranty. DDR4 became mainstream with intel 7th gen launch in 2016. By 10 years it does not mean companies will stop manufacturing that ram but rather that standard is changed just like how even today you can buy usb 2.0 pen drives.
