Intel Unveils Lunar Lake Architecture

Skilled
this looks like Intel's effort to compete with Apple M1:

the company has been feeling the pressure over the last few years from customer-turned-rival Apple, whose M-series Apple Silicon has been setting the bar for power efficiency over the last few years. And now with Qualcomm attempting to do the same things for the Windows ecosystem with their forthcoming Snapdragon X chips, Intel is preparing to make their own power play.

Found this video, and it pretty much explains why this line of CPUs are going to be different than previous generations of CPUs.

not really liking how everyone's jumping on the on-board memory architecture :/
Same, wish they had a hybrid option where we can use the traditional memory but it will be slower. Right now its not sure if all of the RAM will be on chip. AFAIK the desktop CPU hasn't been elaborated on.

I doubt they'll go with a hybrid approach,we already have so many inconsistencies with traditional ram, what with not using consecutive ram slots, making sure all 3 values are same, experimenting with xmp etc etc

but yeah they need to find some workaround for this, I really hate it when we lose the choice of swapping components out
