hello ,
So my mouse and keyboard ( both new ) have started to have this weird issue. Both disconnect and reconnect randomly , I did try changing the usb ports but still have this issue , found a solution online about changing the power plan setting worked for half a day but now its acting up again . While dicconecting and reconnecting i can hear the windows notification through my headphone tho . Any solutions ?

Laptop or desktop?
Tried another usb port?
I hope you aren't connecting to those front panel usbs.
Try plugin in another mouse if you can.
desktop user , yes i did try other ports , and both my devices are connected to motherboard via usb 3.0 . The system was built a year ago but keyboard and mouse i got new .

started issue same day you bought new & plug or after 2-3 days or latter?

Is Windows/Driver etc. updated?

Could you check if the keyboard is working properly in bios or not. Depending in whether or not your bios has a modern GUI, you could also check the fuctionality of the mouse in the bios.

in case of a desktop pc, try updating your bios, then updating the usb raid controllers from windows.
I had a similar issue, not reconnecting regularly, but whenever I used to open any heavy application, or alt-tab from a game, it would give that usb plug-in sound and the lights would go off and on for a fraction of a second.

would you please share some links on how to update the raid controllers or how to do it .

2 methods

1 - Download USB drivers from your motherboard's website, and then install them

2 - Install driver easy, it will detect the updated drivers for your hardware (literally each and every possible update), and then install those
Now the problem with driver easy is that it is paid. So for free you can download 1 driver at a time, and limited bandwidth of 1% of the internet plan. And for installation, you need to open file location of the download driver, copy the path, go to device manager, open the associated device properties, update driver, search on machine for updated driver, paste the path, then install.

Yes, stay in bios only and try to figure out whether or not the issue occurs after more time while within bios. If your mouse and keyboard is working perfectly in BIOS, then we can safely say that hardware itself is not the problem, but rather windows and its drivers.

What is your exact motherboard BTW?

As user @TechnologyHell has pointed out, updating bios could fix the issue. Updating the chipset drivers and USB drivers (if any available on the motherboard manufacturer's website) could also help.
Regarding driver easy, my thoughts are that you should adopt caution and not update drivers willy nilly unless you are very sure which drivers are being updated by this software.
