POE switch + security camera recommendations?

I'm trying to set up some security cameras around my house. I had an electrician pull CAT6 cables going to various points around the house for this purpose. I now need to pick the IP cameras + Switch and both of them should be POE capable.

For the POE switch, I'm thinking this,

It's got 8 x gigabit POE ports, which seems to be rare in that price range. I'm installing 5 cameras at a maximum and I know they won't need gigabit by a stretch, but I can use the extra ports for other devices and probably save on having to buy an extra gigabit switch later. It's available on ltonlinestore.com for 3.8K. Though I'm not sure how reliable that store is.

For the cameras, I just need something cheap/functional. It looks like there aren't too many options.

And a HIKVISION for about the same price,

I'm leaning more towards the HIKVISION because the plan is to use Frigate running on a HP mini-pc as my NVR and HIKVISION is one of the brands they recommend here. Besides that, the cameras seem similar in terms of video quality/night vision, maybe the HIKVISION has an advantage. HIKVISION samples 1 AND 2. TP-LINK sample.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Try looking for both online and offline options.
A company I interned at posted a request for it online, and we were bombarded with sellers. So wouldnt recommend it to you. But don't buy storage second hand. Only buy new and with warranty that covers live recording. A lot of manufacturers explicitly state that warranty wouldnt be covered in your scenario. And they know what you do by checking the health and amounts of read and write you have done, when you send the storage device for warranty claim.
I also wouldnt recommend using third party internet service.

hey for cameras hikvision anyday, they do provide timely updates also.

also ltonlinestore can be trusted have ordered twice from them and it was delivered within a 3 days to patna.
for hikvision cameras try contacting your local vendors for rates [ amazon sells the oldest stock]
if in mumbai try contacting mahadev computers they ship pan india or if delhi all fortech shop


I also have a couple of cp plus ip cameras lying if you want you can get it from me @kuduku

Thanks for the advice. I'll stick to Hikvision then. Mahadev's price for the model I mentioned seems higher than Amazon, but I'll call them and check.
 
I've been using TP-Link Vigi NVR and cameras for some time now. It's been a reliable system, and I appreciate the frequent updates for both the NVR and cameras, which include new features and bug fixes. My only regret is buying a 9-port 10/100M switch (8 port PoE+ 1 non-PoE). I wish I'd purchased a 10-port switch so I could connect the NVR directly to the switch. Also, Amazon's prices are on the higher side. I got one camera from Moglix for cheaper.

the biggest drawback with tplink vigi series is that most of the features are locked to only their nvr and it sucks, but except that they seem good
