WTB 750-850W PSU, 80+ Gold

I don't go much by those lists, apart from corsair you can have a look at CM, gigabyte too. Have used both personally and gigabyte more so than CM. Have one CM 850w gold running from 7+ yrs and 2 gigabyte 550 bronze from 4-5 yrs and mix of gigabyte 700-750-850 golds in personal systems from 3-4 yrs with one of them 750 replaced as it was one of the bad batch when gigabyte bomb issue came out but none of components got any issue because of that and one aorus 850 from last 2yrs.
I personally like gigabyte as had a very good experience with them for everything. Be it psu, gpu or whatever parts i have. Msi has also been fine but have used only mobo from them.

Deepcool has been quite good from what i have heard from lot of people but their service is very bad as Acro takes care of it. For some it's good and others bad but all over more negative reviews than positive.

I'm good with most of the brands you mentioned but the tier lists are a good approximation because they take component quality and sourcing into consideration. Or at least used to last I checked in 2021.

I asked for Corsair because they're the only reasonably priced brand in India with consistently good options except for the VS series. Other brands like CM and Gigabyte have some crap quality PSUs mixed into their product lines and I don't want to deal with that since this will be a friend's build. Nor do I want to buy premium Aorus or Asus ROG PSUs. I had a melted GPU power connector with a CM power supply even though it was overspecced for the system.

That's what i said, for gigabyte that issue with last model was with a specific series where in overbudget for power was more. Do check some online sites and try searching for used in warranty psu on fb marketplace also.
DM me if need any help
Also for deepcool/Antec psus, quality may be good but service is very bad for both.

What was your bad experience with acro? As for me, acro has been the best I have dealt with along with Deepcool. When I rma my aio, it was seamless, they arranged shipping both ways and also they used Bluedart which is very fast. I have also RMAd my adata XPG RAM recently which was also extremely fast. No questions asked, no invoices asked.

After RMA process was done, Deepcool china emailed me asking if I was happy with the product I received, which is greatly appreciated. Overall, I don't see how better they can do. But obviously, not every RMA will go as smooth. Either way, I think they are pretty decent.
