Running electrical and ethernet cable in external wire casing

Folks, I have a requirement to run an extension cable from a plug and an ethernet cable from the router together using the normal external cable casing for 15m from one room to another.
The Ethernet cable I intend to use appears to be "unshielded" from the product description -
The electrical cable is of decent quality brought from the nearby store. It originates from a 3 pin plug.
Will it be an issue ? I also have the option of replacing it with shielded ethernet cable but will that mitigate the risks.
Edit : It's a rented flat so cannot do any much apart from this when it comes to cabling.

I have run indoor cat 6 cabling (unshielded CCA since it was cheap at around ₹10/m) around 30m inside the walls alongside house wiring (the stranded single core unshielded wires). Faced no meaningful drops in speed or latency. Was not intelligent enough then to check for packet loss, but I don't think it'll be an issue, didn't face any compromise in my browsing experience.

How mission critical this application is will determine the need for shielded cat6/cat7. Another option is to run fiber through and convert it at the end.(extremely mission critical and you simply can't afford to have any issues creep up).

Since you're running power alongside the cabling, is PoE/PoE+ an option?

Naah, not mission critical. Let me have a go and see.

It is for a second UPS. Not enough power points in the room. Will POE+ work for this scenario ?

By UPS, I hope you're referring to router UPS and hence 12V/5V supply.

If this is a 220V mains UPS, then I don't think it's possible.

Since routers don't have high power requirements and PoE has a power limit of 15W (PoE+ has a limit of 30W).

However, on the receiver side, you will need to receive the PoE power (usually at 48V DC) and convert it into suitable voltage.

This is where the internet is lacking details. I am able to find PoE receivers, but these appear to be very costly and availability in India could be a concern.

The cheaper and easier option would be running wires as originally planned.

PoE might be a fun solution, or you can get a router that is capable of being powered by PoE (Ubiquiti comes to mind)

The external cable casing is glue based, do you think it can hold the weight of 15m long wire? The casing is only 11.8 inches long, how many casings are you planning to buy?

I have 4 pairs left over from what I had. For the rest I intend to also use some normal wire casing with double sided tape.

Double tape is the wrong choice. Unless you're using 3M or something really strong.

Remember when using double tape (even 3M), you're sticking it to the paint, not the wall. Should the paint peel (and most do under loads and the normal electrical pipes with cables are loads), you will end up with a horrendous looking wall and no cables.

Maybe try one of these. (They are cheaper at the nearest hardware store)

They leave small holes that can be filled easily with white cement.
