Damn!
96 degrees, if this GPU was used on these temp than I am not sure if much life remains in this card.
Temps when gaming don't go that high, maybe 75-80 ish range. It was only in furmark. In heaven, it was like 80 ish range.
Needs a repaste, is all.
I have logged data from HWinfo of Heaven and 3dspy before I took the card out. if you are interested, I can DM them.
Also, this test was done in a no airflow NZXT H700 case not sure if that made it worse.

You card requires a thermal paste and pad change.

I have the same exact GPU and yes you are correct. Thermal pads might be okay as they can last up to 8 years (with avg being 5-6 years) and considering this GPU isn't as intense on memory as newer RTX cards they will be fine with just thermal paste change and cleaning. Its also super easy to disassemble this card, you just need to unscrew 4 small screws and fan shroud comes out.

OP your card looks better than mine which was bought at similar time frame to yours but you might want to share additional photos showing IO ports as that's where the main wear usually is. GLWS

Thanks

Yea, only four screws holding the fan case to the heat sink, very easy to clean.

Never took off the port cover except the DP one.
