PIR And Microwave Motion Sensors

have some microwave sensors installed on roof to control lights, and one weird thing I have noticed is that even a little movement of leaves or rain causes the it to light up,
how do I solve this?
by changing the microwave to PIR Ones?
or by doing something to the sensitivity dial on the sensor? [WHICH SIDE SHOULD I CHANGE IT TO BE + OR -]
