yeah, thats what peeps on reddit were saying, PTM is better for GPUs with direct die applications and laptops, and not much better on IHS. I'll order it for my laptop, Lenovo's heatsink replacement has some generic paste spread on it and not PTM and the temps have never been as good as when I first got it,

If you can apply and forgot it for few years then +1-2c isn't a big deal imo.
I don't think pump out is a problem with name branded decent thermal pastes. I applied NT-H1 when I installed the CPU, back in Nov 2022, and hasn't deteriorated since(probably), and provided better results than PTM. Before that I was using gelig gc extreme for ~3 years with my r5 2600 (2018-2021).If you can apply and forgot it for few years then +1-2c isn't a big deal imo.
have a Zenbook oled laptop w 12700h and 4gb Arc A370m, 16gb ddr 5 and 4TB Crucial drive, gets really hot seen it throttle during Valley benchmark temps hit 97C even 100 a few times I just picked up some corsair XMT50 paste, its beginning to look like the good reviews might just be posted to promote sales...I allready fried a laptop with liquid metal even though I used a very minute amount, only one out of several reviews mentioned silicone sealing liquid metal. I will not ever use Liquid metal ever again and don't want to waste time or money. I need to find a reliable store for ptm 7050
