Budget option is this with 2x16GB RAM, can add new RX6600 or used RX6700XT (20k) to it (avoid new 4060 or 4060Ti, used 3060Ti is fine for 18k or so). But w/o GPU it won't boot. At this performance class, even with 6700XT, the benefit of DDR5 with i5 12400 is minimal.

An i5 12400 DDR5 build, do buy used 6700XT or 3060Ti if you go this route, preferably 6700XT as DDR5 is wasted on RX6600, just save money at that point. Look for deals in the upcoming sale in amazon & FK, might get some great deals.

Thanks man, appreciate it.
Although I am tight on budget but could add few more to go with 5600X instead(if that makes sense)
One more question, could you please suggest some online platforms to buy Graphic Card(obv. Other than Tech enclave)

You could also look at this build add in a couple of pwm fans(1k), an m.2 wifi card(AX210 at 2.2k, you can also find these on the forum from resellers for cheaper around 1.5k), 6700xt(18.5k), you can use the stock cooler for the 7600 and it also has an igpu. You can also put up a WTB thread for all these components to check if someone is selling them for cheaper. One thing I would suggest is extending the budget by just 3k and going for 6000 CL30 ram kit, it is about 10-15% faster in gaming. I forgot to add the SSD so go for the SN770(6.6k). The build is over budget but much better in terms of longevity imo.

Thank you, I can extend the budget upto 5k. I will first try getting these components at Nehru Place and will put WTB thread if needed

Edit: just checked the specs of CPU and it only supports these frequencies. Does buying an 6000 MHz ram makes sense?
2x1R
DDR5-5200
2x2R
DDR5-5200
4x1R
DDR5-3600
4x2R
DDR5-3600

you can also think about buying a used 5800x and a b450 or b550 motherboard and save some cash for buying a better gpu and other components.

Those are just for maximum stability but 6000 would run just fine, moreover I suggested 6000 incase of an upgrade to an x3d cpu in the future as those are the ones that really benefit from it, so if you want cheaper ram you can go for the one I listed or you can also go for a 16gb kit or separate 8gb sticks but do remember that separate sticks might lead to instability, I have suggested them to make the build under the budget. Also with 16gb ram you wouldn't be able to run ram intensive programs in the background while gaming and emulation could also be an issue.

Do due diligence when buying used stuff. 3060Ti & 3070 used cards are much easier to find than 6700XT under 20k. Also, avoid 3070Ti, usually above 20k & not even 10% faster than 3070. I own a 3070 & 8GB VRAM is its con.
