Hi There,

Im in a dilemma either to buy laptop or tablet but inclined to tablet.

Sooo i need a tablet to login into remote pc & would let me complete half my work.

Please advise.

Explain your requirement in more clear terms.

For connecting to remote PC, are you using teamviewer/anydesk or something else? Is whatever application you're using Android/iOS compatiable?

What else do you expect from the tab/laptop other than remote work?

Have requirement like i have to login in a system that is in austrelia through remote & that is cloud.

Wifi version is alos fine but it is 5G it will be good. Had all over google but most of the budget ones are EMMC based storage which effect performance.

The could PC app is made for android only for tabs & its not supported on android phones but when i tried on android phone it was using high resources & the phone was getting hot.

Budget is below 30k
Got info that on 29th July new tablets are gonna launch from xiaomi, lets see.

They'll be releasing the Redmi Pad Pro on Aug 2. The processor is a pinch weaker than Xiaomi Pad 6. The screen and battery are bigger. And the 8GB variant has 5G support. Though if you are after performance then the Oneplus Pad has a better chipset, but no 5G. The price falls under 30k during sales. Xiaomi Pad 6 lies somewhere in between. Better performance than Redmi Pad Pro at a similar price but no 5G.

One dubious thing about Xiaomi is their new HyperOS. Many people are facing problems on their Pad 6 after update. Apparantly its not optimized for tablets. Also there is no official word on promised os updates for Pad 6. Earlier they stated upto A15 on their website which has now silently been changed to A14. Dont know what'll happen with Redmi Pad Pro. Oneplus Pad has another 2 years of major os updates and 3 years of security updates.

If you aren't planning to push the tablet's performance then S9 FE is a great shout too. Comes with an exynos chipset which has improved compared to its predecessors. Can be used for mundane multitasking without any issue. Infact I think it performs similar to Redmi Pad Pro (you may want to check the benchmarks). Comes with the S Pen. And has another 3 years of major os updates and 4 years of security updates. Samsung's os is the most optimised of the lot. The price can go as low as 24k with card discounts during sale.

Overall wait for the independance day sale if possible.
