Table, bookshelf and Monitor Arm Mount

Planning to get new table, bookshelf and monitor arm
is the hyperx arm worth paying the premium?
and what about this table and bookshelf combo for around 5k? i will cut holes on this to mount the arm

The 40% coupon brings it down to ~6300, which is about 2k more than a comparable arm: https://www.jin.net.in/product/stylish-single-monitor-gaming-arm/ but that one is out of stock. Could be worth if you're going to stream and want to look cool.

That table isn't the best idea though, your knees would end up hitting that 16cm drawer unless if you're a very, very short person.

Nah no streamer , but I noticed that a Mount arm just makes a lot of difference in desk setup.
I just wanted something that is more reliable since the last mount i ordered, tilting the monitor up from the joint near the Vesa mount was like fighting against it.. like if I force tilt it 30 degree up, it would stay at 10 up.
it's on expensive side but I thought it should last me long enough to justify paying the extra and later purchase the add-on 2nd arm when I get another monitor.
Now my Monitor is 34 inch curved and hyperx suggested upto 32, so i looked at your suggestion and looks quality .. i will try asking the jin whatsapp.

And you are absolutely right about the table, is there anywhere cheaper height adjustable table frames available? I guess manual would be cheaper but still don't see them anywhere lower than 10k
And the bookshelf good? The price for that is 2.8k
 
I feel the table surface lacks sufficient depth to work comfortably for longer durations. I suggest marking the same dimensions on your dining table to get an idea of the actual usable surface area.
 
I ended up trying few monitor arms and decided to go with HyperX since the build quality of clamp felt superior.
For Height adjustable table, I got the green soul alex, it's big, great so far.
But I have to say, since it's particle board and two slabs joint together in the middle, Clamping the monitor arm with 9kg 34 UW monitor, it's not the best combination

For the Bookshelf, the order got accidentally cancelled (I was trying to cancel the the table but I guess they were shipping them together so they cancelled both or it was my own mis click).
I really liked the look of the bookshelf so I'm looking for suggestions again
 
Speaking from my experience, for your setup I would highly recommend a heavier and sturdier table. Lightweight tables wobble when even typing.
You put on monitors or arms in the future, it will wobble/bend. You can even have one custom built locally for cheaper.
 
Get a table built from a carpenter. You can choose its height based on your and your chair's height. If you're tight on space then you can opt for a keyboard mouse drawer.

Some ideas:
1. Keyboard drawer at height of your armrest.
2. Monitor arm mounted on table.
3. You can either keep cabinet on top or under the table. I prefer to keep on top. But if you're going to keep it under the table then don't keep it on ground, ask the carpenter to make a wooden platform (Like this). That should help with dust.
