Hi I have the following setup

Ryzen 5 5600G

Gigabyte B550Mds3h

64 GB corsair vengeance ram

tp link tx201 2.5 gig lan card and on board GBE Nic from Realtek

I would also like to know how to passthrough the onboard SATA ports on to the true NAS VM

also how can I run the PF sense using the 2 NICs

I would like to run proxmox and pf sense and docker containers need your help
 
5600g might be a lot for running pfsense, do you plan on adding more VM? My setup as shown below, passing the nics as raw pci devices. There are many tutorials on this.

Yes I plan to run a lot more VMs like a true NAS setup wireguard and portioner for docker containers

I am planning to use an M.2 SSD for my boot drive the board has 4 SATA ports can from what I gathered its possible to passthrough all 4 sata ports

It has everything to do with customs. No shipment from abroad can enter a country without confirmed identity of the buyer. However, ID requirement is asked by the entity which is bringing the consignment to India & not the seller so if MorningGlobal is the entity handling the shipment delivery to India then it does need that ID. As for why only voter ID, that's because such ID must contain address so that rules out pan & voter ID is preferred over DL probably because foreign companies think voter ID more reliable than DL. Aadhaar is not asked for likely because of privacy concerns/data sharing rules by govt. Btw, you need to do the same with amazon India too if ordering from a seller marked as "global shipment/shipped from abroad".
 
It's odd that they're insisting on voter id. I had a few packages delivered last year via DHL and aadhaar was fine. But I recently tried to change my address with my bank and they too were like aadhaar is suddenly not good enough anymore.

If aadhaar isn't enough, and even your passport isn't enough for some things now, that begs the question of why these documents even exist.

People have this misconception that Aadhaar is 100% (or almost 100%) fake proof id. The thing is, not just anybody can actually verify aadhaar. You can download some random aadhaar pic from internet (there are many pics available) or you can use your own genuine aadhaar & use photoshop to edit details (name, DOB, even aadhaar number itself) & take a printout & give it to some hotel reception or courier guy & they can't verify it. You see, to even verify aadhaar you need to be a registered entity with UIDAI like all the banks & many registered financial institutions are who can scan the QR code on aadhaar or send the aadhaar number/biometric to UIDAI database & then get the real details with which they can cross check if the printed copy of aadhaar is genuine or not. You can be rest assured that UIDAI is not going to give this access to some courier company. This also means that getting voter ID is a better option for them because they can at least check it online themselves without any permission from some govt agency https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/
