hey which year model is the firestick? and any specific reason why you are selling it?
I got it last year free with my Hisense TV. There are only 2 versions of firestick 4K. The latest one which is on sale on Amazon and this one. I am using CCwGTV 4k now. I like the remote on it better.

Everyone is upset about the Apple TV 4k not being the "latest" model. Other than support for HDR10+ which is of no use to most people if you have TV that supports Dolby vision, there is nothing that 2nd gen doesn't do. Moreover, most apps don't have any content in HDR10+ even if you have a samsung TV. In fact, 2nd gen has Ethernet which the cheapest 3rd gen doesn't.

Received firestick a few days back, wasn't able to test it till now due to shifting.

It's working well, thanks!

Is it the 2021 version? I somehow thought this one doesn't have HDMI 2.1. If it's the 2021 version then I am interested in this.

Just one clarification, does it need the lightning cable for anything? I hate that thing and had moved away from Apple because of it.

Yes it does. Once in 6 months to recharge the remote.
