Amazon has started hiding seller ratings

As the number of scam sellers rise on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, instead of making it easier to spot possible scams, Amazon has gone and hidden the seller ratings on the product listing page

Now it requires 2 clicks just to check the seller rating, something that was displayed upfront till just last month.

This goes to show that these companies are more interested in protecting scammers than protecting their customers. There's absolutely no reason to make it difficult to see the seller rating on platform which is primarily meant to connect buyers with sellers.

Hindenburg, amazon, google are all Customers (Indian) friendly. so we should trust them and keep buying either news, goods or services. ;)

Apart from seller ratings, the current filter options only allow to select ratings of 4 stars and above. I couldn't find any way to filter for 3 stars and above or 2 stars and above.
And most of the 4 stars and above ratings/reviews are just shady or people giving 5 stars for the sake of 'upto' 50 rupees cashback.

If i see a card in the package that says rate our products 5 stars and get x rupees, I automatically rate it 1 star. They are basically setting up an exit scam.

OTOH cards or even hand written notes that request for (any) feedback/rating without kickbacks gets a genuine rating

90% are cheaters as soon as opportunity came.. someone in trillion, billion, million or chillar and this is situation when they are not poor or going to die if didn't get those Rs.50/-

i do not care to post even a single star, if at all gave single star, than with mentioned that the seller asking/offering favor/money and maximum time my post never got approval from ....

This is another serious problem. My reviews too about such things, even if laid out in the most polite manner, won't get approved. As soon as I praise something, it gets instant approval on same day. Even reviews or complaints on sellers are often ignored.

I had a situation where the order got fully leaked to outside due to seller's terrible packing and amazon gave refund after complaint. But seller tried to be super rude with me as if he isn't responsible and said it is partly my responsibility as well. Like how? Idk.

I gave complaint abt this seller and review as well and it didn't even get approved.
