What happened to Garmin India?

After getting rid of my Apple Watch on account of frustration with daily charging, the first thing I was looking for is a Garmin tracker. To my surprise, it is missing from all online store fronts and also from offline stores. Read somewhere that they shuttered their offices in 2023.

Any idea what happened and whether it is still being imported and supported by resellers? I am assuming it may have something to do with the influx of smartwatches from the cheap brands and in general, a very small health tracker market in India.
 
Last time i looked....they were selling for dirt cheap prices in clearance section of croma stores...u might want to try there ..
 
They do have their official store here in Gurgaon and a few other cities, and there are a few licensed online dealers.

But yeah, overall they are not trying enough in the Indian market for whatever reason. Online presence is very limited. They did slash the prices of the 165 in India recently which is encouraging.

Trusted store, they have physical presence here in Bangalore. Have bought Tissot and Seiko watches from their Indiranagar store, would recommend them.

Yeah, I saw this but everything is overpriced. Anyway, I went with a Casio digital as my normal watch and a Fitbit Inspire 3 for tracking. Quite happy having 2 lightweight and long battery life devices instead of a smart watch at 1/3rd the cost.
