Windows Higher than normal GPU temps in Win 11 LTSC

My GPU idles at 42-47 degrees in Windows 10/11. The GPU fan is set to start at 50 degrees (default setting).

I installed Windows 11 LTSC, pre-activated from massgrave.dev, two months ago as a secondary OS on a different SSD.
It is relatively lightweight.

The LTSC version lacked Microsoft Store and I was trying to install TradingView.msix a few weeks ago.
When I searched for it in Microsoft Store on a web browser and clicked on "Download" it downloaded exe file. When I clicked on that file, it opened a mini Windows Store API that downloaded and installed the application.

Regarding the problem, everything was fine until a few days ago. This issue started after something triggered it, I suppose.

Now, when idle my GPU runs at 53-57 degrees with fans running

There is little to no GPU usage in the Task Manager, but sometimes "Application Frame Host" uses a very little bit of GPU. I searched the internet and found that this is related to the Microsoft Store API.

When I switch back to regular Windows 10/11, the GPU temperatures return to normal and vice versa.

My theory is that either there is a bug in this version [I heard LTSC are more stable] or massgrave injected something into the ISO that is acting strangely.

Please suggest fixes if any...

Don't download ISO images of windows OS from any other website than Microsoft. And if you want to debloat the is then do it yourself. There are plenty of tools available to make it yourself.
THERE IS NO OFFICIAL WINDOWS 11 LTSC / LITE / ETC version. So you don't know what else is running in background. Maybe some virus / spyware / tracker etc etc. So do yourself a favour and reinstall the OS from legitimate microsoft website.

bruh, this is massgrave who piggy back on microsoft's server themselves, unless you are downloading enterprise windows versions which are only available for enterprise customers

thats just an evaluation copy, it wont work after a month 90 days

I will still suggest you download the normal windows 11 iso file (from MS website) and remove the unnecessary stuffs yourself.

And the said windows 11 Iot version is meant for stuffs like ATM etc. Will suggest you NOT to install this version. Several people have reported BSOD after installing few drivers (realtek audio) or windows update or simply after restart etc etc.

care to share any sources for this? because in my experience, debloating windows yourself has lead to more issues than downloading a bare bones windows from microsoft
 
The Windows 11 LTSC iso floating around is the leaked version of the one which MS circulated to OEMs. As with all Windows including the ones you directly download from MS, there will be bugs / features, whatever you may call it. If you do install it, there are a number of security/bug fix updates that followed so better to install those as well.
I am holding off till it becomes a little more stable. Windows 10 IoT LTSC is still my goto and that is going to be supported for few more years.
Regardless of what MS tells you about not using them on your desktops and laptops, unless you need specific features and bloat of the regular Home or Pro versions, the LTSC versions work perfectly fine. You can even enable Windows Store by a single command. There are already couple of threads here on Windows 11 LTSC versions.
I had started with the Windows 10 Pro version and used to debloat them pre and post install but concluded it was not worth it. The components were linked too closely so removal of one meant that some other would fail to work. Besides you would need to carry out the same exercise with each feature update as some or other removed components kept coming back. It was simply not worth it.
Got the IoT LTSC, did some minor tweaks and minimal debloat and voila, rock stable and worry free.

I also have Microsoft Store installed, and installed MS Clipchamp and Lively wallpaper through that. Did not notice any difference in temps or behaviour after getting the store back.

CPU: Ryzen 5600
GPU: Nvidia 1080

Massgrave is open source and widely used. If it was injecting anything malicious, it would be known.

MAS is fully open-source. You can open the batch files with Notepad and verify it. It has many users/stars on GitHub. You can even perform the activation manually, check the Docs section for instructions.

Usually I don't do this but read good about this dev on reddit and being open source was a plus point.

There are two-three available flavours, IoT comes with Microsoft Store installed.
