I doubt X75L, X80L or Bravia 2 are far better in picture quality vs X74L, so X74L can be considered a value for money Sony option. IMO spend 50k on X74L or jump to OLED, like 55" A2/A3 has been 80k on sales, might be same in upcoming Durga Puja/Diwali sale.

Thanks, I got the X74L. My parents are happy with it.

From where did you shop from - Amazon or Flipkart? I am asking because one of the top reviews on Amazon is that installation guy kinda blackmails or forces customers to give 5 star ratings to avail extended warranty and that is the reason why it has 4.8 rating on Amazon. Was that the case with you as well?

Prefer flipkart for such purchases because of their open box delivery system. Just make sure the product is not physically damaged before giving the otp after delivery person open the package.

These are shady tactics, and they are common for all popular eCommerce platforms. This is because delivery is handled by third parties.
There are so many horrific cases of delivery agents tricking customers, forcing them to accept delivery, and most of all, hurrying or pushing for quick delivery formalities.
