Anker quality

Has been available at 599 last few days
Anker is a good brand but reading amazon india reviews decided not to buy
Anker is chaloo brand.
They get their stuff designed by people usually hired by Apple but get them manufactured in China by people not hired by anyone.

That is why their stuff looks well built and sexy but has same problems just like any low -med tier quality Chinese manufacturers.

I kinda of disagree. They are magsafe certified and have only had good experience with them so far.

I'm rather confused. I was looking for a good quality charger for a pixel 8 phone i bought. Something which isn't priced insanely. Are anker chargers good (as in safe) or not?
On another note, can we charge new phones with old chargers? Like I'm charging it with a pixel 2 charger and it charges fine. But could it be harmful for the battery? I don't get all these specs like PD this that.

I have had better experience with xaomi products than Anker.
One power bank battery is bloated other power bank button gets stuck.

Amazon reviews In USA is mixed too. With many having issues.

Only good thing in my experience is design and material quality of their products are very good.
Overall experience not so good.

To put it in one point ..they are overrated.

That doesn’t sound like a good experience. I guess either I’ve been lucky or you’ve been unlucky.

My absolute favorite brand is satechi but that’s expensive and not available here. Belkin works great too.

Get a belkin charger if you’re concerned about Anker.

Most of their products are not Magsafe certified. They say Magsafe-compatible and are Qi/Qi2 based. The problem with most 3rd party Magsafe compatible chargers is 'heat'. They get insanely hot and heats up the phone as well. I shifted to Apple's Magsafe charger puck for desk charging and I rarely have a need to use external charger (thanks to bloody long battery life of pro max).

I have actually been looking for the apple official magsafe wireless power bank. That is the ONLY power bank that regulates heat but the damn thing is only 1460 mAH

First time I have ever heard a power bank with only 1460mAH.
It seems they only want to charge your phone for making one or 2 emergency calls. :p

no, I do not use magsafe powerbanks. At home, I use apple magsafe puck and when on the go, I use the good old Realme 10000mAh portable charger. This one has Li-Ion battery and is thin n light. Reason is simple. When on the go, I want something that can charge fast and generates less heat. Wireless charger + external heat + 5G is not really safe on batteries.

Haven't bought any of their products since the last 2 years but they've always been a reliable brand in my experience.

Years back they were really good but gradually find their inside quality to be getting poorer. ( Maybe cost cutting just like Decathlon).

However, I must say the power banks I have are old purchases only . They were not used much throughout their lifespan infact xaomi and Lenovo powerbanks were used much more.

Isn't this planned obsolescence kinda apply to everything these days ? They don't build things like they used to anymore.
Heck I can barely find decent tshirts under 1.5k that won't fade in a few washes, anyone have any recommendations lol ?

Yes but Anker is expensive .
Unlike many brands that sell 10000 maH for Rs 500-800 at most . I paid 1500-2000 for anker 10000 mah and 3000 for 20000maH ones. For that price I expect better quality.

As for Tshirts... I can recommend UnderArmour always like their stuff.
But I mostly buy cheap ones only because of this fade thing. Use them and throw them after a while.

But under armour stuffs really last long imo.
