Help me buy a water filter

Was thinking of buying uv + uf filter and attach it to house tap but the house tap water is from rainwater and not clean.

So, connecting filter to Tap is not an option for now.

We fetch pipe water which is clean to drink and will refill the water filter manually. TDS is 36. (Rainwater is 56)

Option available for me

1. Buy gravity based filter with good refill option. Anyone has good experience with some models that could be bought online?
2. Fix an overhead tank and use uv uf filter.

Can the ro pump suck water from low level?

Let's discuss! Would appreciate your insights!

aquaguard booster has a pump for sucking water from a bucket. No tap water inlet. You could ask the installation team to hook it up to the loft tank tap.

ro cant suck water like that. Ro pump is for boosting pressure to membrane not for sucking water. You would need another 1/2 hp booster pump at loft tank output to give 1 bar pressure for ro system to even work. You don't requre ro unit for such low tds in the first place. Dont buy RO.
Gravity systems wont remove viruses and bacteria. You will need to use some chemical tablet on the purified water to be 100% sure.

I'm thinking of buying a small submersible pump and then connect it to uf uf filter with pre filter, sediment, carbon. I wonder if it will be enough.

Tell us what you have (bucket or loft tank or just plain water pipe or nothing) and what you want to do first. And what is your budget.
