The DLC(phantom liberty) is even better. And it's soundtrack is one of the best, that I still have on my playlist.

@joy.das.jd I've played that game and frankly I did not enjoy it. Its just too depressing for my taste. The world, characters, and the story are all top notch but almost every mission ends with a tragedy, showing just how messed up that world is. It really is a true dystopia, and maybe that's why its so off-putting for me. For example, the River Ward quest where we save his nephew from somewhere (lets not spoil it for others), was truly revolting to behold. Then there is another mission where they show the power of AI in that world and the people/beings who control them possess, the quest was called Dream On and its just so mind bending, if you haven't done that one, please do. The whole game is filled with such missions and worst part it, there are almost no happy endings. Everyone in that world seems to be doomed in one way or the other.
I've heard great things about Phantom Liberty, but after experiencing the main game, I just can't play another dystopian game where there is no hope of a future.

Here's a random recommendation though, if you haven't tried The Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild yet. I recommend every one to give it a go, it disrupted the landscape of the open world genre and brought in so many fresh ideas to the table, all the games after it are still trying to emulating the same. Its one of the best games I've played and probably one the best ever made. And the best part is, there is a sequel that's even better.

I know that most of the ending are depressing. Even the DLC ending is kind of a similar kind but at least it puts a proper end to V's story. That's why I said its made for a mature audience. It really puts your mind into the perspective of the dystopian world. You simply cannot have a happy ending in such a world.

I have heard a lot about The Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild, but unfortunately I don't have a SWITCH to play it in its full glory. Last time i tried emulating it, the experience was NOT that great. Maybe some day i might have a switch and then i might play it. :)

Breath of the Wild was so good that I played it on 15-20 fps, right around the time it came out using CEMU (on PC because it is always a better experience, don't play it on a Switch). I checked again and it looks like we can now play it on 60-120 fps even with a mid tier CPU. The setup is a hassle but the game will spoil you, and it really becomes hard to get immersed in any other game after playing that. Its just that good. Highly recommended.
 
Finished story of RDR2. Rockstar makes the best open worlds that's for sure. Story is alright, extensive but somewhat predictable in multiple places.

We even have a large chunk of RDR 1 map which seems to have been cut and is used only slightly, But the whole map is left to explore which i have almost done now. Next i will go through lots of lots of youtube videos to see stuff that i did not see. I also skipped the tedious collecting missions, so will see dialogue on yt.

Next game - probably will play something different - Ori and blind forest.

What I'm about to say might be controversial but Ragnarok came nowhere near as good as the first GOT was. Graphics felt the same, Story was meh, gameplay was same as well albeit with newer combos. I snoozed every time I tried to play it and ultimately had to drop it.

Control is worth finish. Its one of those games where you feel immortal. Control 2 when?

Has to be due to your PC right? Otherwise Witcher 3 is very stable and I have played both previous gen and the next gen update.
BTW if I'm to start playing Wolfenstein as a new comer. Which one do I start with?

I agree.
Graphics still though was great.
Story was good too.
But gameplay was same and meh.

I found this one very tedious. Don't like writing style and combat is meh. Obviously most people like it.

Play all the new ones from machinegames in order - they are very good games. i did not play the last one with the daughters. That has not great reviews.
Older ones are classics but not related as such.
I used to play original wolfenstein demo as a kid. Was a nice game then.

I had a similar experience with RDR2, Gave is good but its too long and story telling is so much where you have to wait for actual gameplay. Once I had to chase 15 min to grab a bounty and that was it because to move forward I had to go back to the camp. Exploring is fine to an extent but thats too much

That's classic rockstar move. Most missions are "go there, kill that, continue" with some cool ones that introduce features like hunting animals etc. Anyway if you are able to go through with it thats good otherwise RDR2 is known to be not for everybody. I'm waiting for GTA VI to compare what they have improved.
 
Gamed after 2yrs..Just started off with JDM: Rise of the Scorpion which is a prelude of the actual game releasing next year..
