i successfully got the username and password and I can now connect to internet, but only under 1x cdma mode, when i insert my data card to my laptop it shows HSIA network with all four vertical bars but immediately it went off and only 1X cdma network remains,i tried by setting it to HSIA only...

Yes the modem have some preinstalled profiles including BSNL. But what username and password I should fill?

Yup, when I purchased that sim, evdo was my only objective behind it. I even told them that I have my own modem and want only a sim to use evdo services on that modem...they told me to complete formalities after that they provided me a Cdma sim as told you in my first post... Are u sure im not...
